Abstract

E-learning menjadi sarana pembelajaran yang banyak digunakan di dunia. Sarana pembelajaran ini memberikan
manfaat begitu besar dimana pengguna bisa mengakses
ribuan situs pembelajaran yang ada. Dengan adanya e-learning juga menjadi sebuah media kolaborasi
mahasiswa untuk dapat bekerjasama dan berbagi ide di dalam memahami dan menyelesaikan suatu permasalahan. Dengan semakin banyak proses pembelajaran yang menggunakan e-learning menimbulkan kekhawatiran akan kualitasnya. Salah satu cara untuk mengevaluasi kualitas dari pembelajaran daring tersebut adalah dengan menganalisis keterlibatan mahasiswa di dalam lingkungan pembelajaran. Keterlibatan mahasiswa di dalam lingkungan
pembelajaran daring salah satunya dapat diukur melalui
partisipasi mahasiswa terkait aktifitas berdiskusi. Zedemy merupakan platform e-learning yang akan diujikan
dipenelitian tugas akhir ini dimana terdapat proses yang
mengintegrasikan media sosial dan proses pembelajaran
sekolah.Penelitian ini akan mengukur keterlibatan mahasiswa melalui kegiatan diskusi dengan menilai aspek kognitif selama berpartisipasi di zedemy. Digunakan model
practical inquiry untuk menjelaskan bagaimana mahasiswa disebuah komunitas memahami dan memaknai informasi dan juga merefleksikannya kedalam sebuah tulisan atau percakapan. Model ini berisikan empat fase tingkatan kognitif yaitu triggering event, exploration, integration, dan resolution. Model practical inquiry akan
menjadi dasar pembuatan poin pertanyaan bagi kuisioner
dengan menurukan indikator dari setiap fase atau tingkatan dari model Practical Inquiry. Kuisioner tersebut akan digunakan untuk menggali secara lebih mendalam mengenai karakteristik tingkat kognitif dari responden yang diujikan. Pada penelitian ini dilakukan juga pretest dan postest mengenai salah satu sesi materi dari mata kuliah Rintisan Bisnis Digital(RBD) di Zedemy. Pretest dan postest ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui seberapa jauh peningkatan pemahaman mahasiswa sebelum dan
sesudah melakukan aktifitas diskusi menggunakan
Zedemy. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengimplementasikan model practical inquiry dalam kaitannya mengetahui seberapa besar dampak peningkatan pemahaman mahasiswa melalui bentuk keterlibatan kognitif mahasiswa dari aktifitas diskusi yang dilakukan. Hasil dari penelitian ini mengemukakan bahwa karakterisktik kognitif exploration merupakan tingkatan yang paling banyak ditemukan pada mahasiswa RBD. Di temukan juga bahwa terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara keterlibatan kognitif mahasiswa dengan ketercapaian pemahaman mahasiswa dimana hal ini dipengaruhi oleh tingkatan integration.

E-learning is a learning tool that is widely used in the
world. This learning tool provides great benefits where users can access thousands of existing learning sites. With e-learning, it is also a collaborative medium for students to be able to work together and share ideas in understanding and solving a problem. With more and more learning processes using e-learning, there are concerns about its quality. One way to evaluate the quality of online learning is to analyze student involvement in the learning environment. One of the ways in which student
involvement in the online learning environment can be measured is through student participation related to discussion activities. Zedemy is an e-learning platform that will be tested in this final project where there is a process that integrates social media and school learning processes. In measuring the cognitive level of students from a learning community, a practical inquiry model will be used on the Zedemy platform. This model explains how students in a community understand and interpret information and also reflect it into writing or conversation. This model contains four stages of cognitive level, namely event triggering, exploration, integration, and resolution. This practical inquiry model will be the basis for making question points for the questionnaire. The questionnaire will be derived from the indicators of each phase or level of the Practical Inquiry model. The questionnaire will be used to explore in more depth the characteristics of the cognitive level of the tested respondents. In this study, a pretest and posttest were also conducted on one of the material sessions of the Digital Business Pioneering (RBD) course at Zedemy. The pretest and posttest were conducted to
find out how far the students' understanding was improved before and after conducting discussion activities using Zedemy. This study aims to implement a practical inquiry model in relation to knowing how big the impact of increasing student understanding through the form of student cognitive involvement from the discussion activities carried out. The results of this study suggest that the characteristics of cognitive exploration are the most common levels found in RBD students. It was also found that there is a significant relationship between students' cognitive involvement and the achievement of student understanding where this is influenced by the level of integration
