Abstract

Gangguan hubung singkat kerap terjadi pada sistem tenaga listrik. Gangguan hubung singkat dapat menyebabkan generator pada sistem kehilangan sinkronisasinya walaupun rele arus lebih sudah bekerja. Untuk mencegah kehilangan sinkronisasi pada generator, dibentuk kurva batas kestabilan transien. Kurva batas kestabilan transien adalah suatu kurva yang membatasi daerah kerja rele arus lebih agar ketika rele tersebut bekerja, generator-generator pada sistem tidak kehilangan sinkronisasinya. Untuk membentuk kurva batas kestabilan transien, perlu dilakukan analisis kestabilan transien dan hubung singkat pada sistem. Dari analisis yang telah dilakukan akan terbentuk titik-titik kestabilan yang kemudian digunakan untuk membentuk kurva batas kestabilan transien. Setelah kurva batas kestabilan transien terbentuk, rele arus lebih pada pabrik 4 PT. Pupuk Sriwidjaja Palembang di evaluasi kestabilannya. Berdasarkan kurva batas kestabilan transien, setting eksisting rele arus lebih pabrik 4 dinyatakan stabil. Oleh karena itu, tidak perlu dilakukan resetting pada rele-rele tersebut.

Short circuit faults often occur in electric power systems. Short circuit faults can cause the generator in the system to lose synchronization even though the overcurrent relay is working. To prevent loss of synchronization in the generator, a transient stability limit curve is formed. The transient stability limit curve is a curve that limits the working area of the overcurrent relay. So that when the relay operates, the generators in the system do not lose their synchronization. To form a transient stability limit curve, it is necessary to perform transient stability and short circuit analysis on the system. From the analysis that has been carried out, stability points will be formed which are then used to form a transient stability limit curve. After the transient stability limit curve is formed, the overcurrent relay at factory 4 PT. Pupuk Sriwidjaja Palembang is evaluated for its stability. Based on the transient stability limit curve, the existing setting of factory 4 overcurrent relay is stable. Therefore, there is no need to resetting the relays.
