Abstract
Pemanfaatan radio amatir seringkali dijadikan sebagai alat pengganti dalam kasus bencana alam yang mengakibatkan kerusakan terhadap fasilitas telekomunikasi. Radio amatir banyak kali menggunakan frekuensi HF sebagai frekuensi transmisinya. Protokol SISO yang diterapkan oleh radio amatir cenderung memiliki kinerja yang kurang jika dilihat pada nilai delay dan throughput yang dihasilkan. Pada buku Tugas Akhir ini akan diusulkan transmisi dengan menggunakan portokol MIMO Multiple ARQ (MMARQ). Penelitian ini akan berfokus pada sistem error control pada lapisan Data Link yang digunakan oleh protokol MMARQ. Uji transmisi yang dilakukan akan menggunakan kanal HF MIMO 2x2 Multi-mode usulan yang telah dibentuk pada sebuah jurnal berjudul “Capacity Improvement Factor of HF Multi-Mode Skywave MIMO Channels”.
Hasil dari penggunaan kanal dan penerapan protokol MMARQ ini menunjukkan peningkatan kinerja transmisi yang dihasilkan dengan respon delay sekitar 43.7% lebih sedikit dan throughput sekitar 79.2% lebih cepat jika dibandingkan dengan hasil protokol SISO AX.25. Sedangkan jikda dibandingkan dengan hasil Protokol MIMO Single ARQ (MSARQ), maka protokol MSARQ memiliki kinerja yang lebih baik ketimbang MMARQ dengan persentase respon delay MMARQ adalah 9.1% lebih banyak dan thorughput sebesar 7.8% lebih lambat daripada MSARQ.

The use of amateur radio is often used as a substitute tool in the case of natural disasters that cause damage to telecommunications facilities. Amateur radio often uses the HF frequency as its transmission frequency. The SISO protocol applied by amateur radio tends to have less effectiveness when viewed from the resulting delay and throughput values. In this Final Project, transmission using MIMO Multiple ARQ (MMARQ) protocol will be proposed. This study will focus on the error control system at the Data Link layer used by the MMARQ protocol. The transmission test carried out will use the proposed HF MIMO 2x2 Multi-mode channel that has been formed in a journal entitled "Capacity Improvement Factor of HF Multi-Mode Skywave MIMO Channels".
The results of using the channel and the application of the MMARQ protocol show an increase in transmission performance resulting in a response delay of about 43.7% less and throughput of about 79.2% faster than the results of the SISO AX.25 protocol. Meanwhile, when compared with the results of the MIMO Single ARQ Protocol (MSARQ), the MSARQ protocol has a better performance than MMARQ with the percentage response delay of MMARQ is 9.1% more and the throughput is 7.8% slower than MSARQ.
