Abstract

Dengan perkembangan teknologi informasi, pertukaran informasi akan semakin sering terjadi. Keamanan informasi merupakan salah satu masalah yang harus diselesaikan untuk melindungi informasi dari pengirim hingga mencapai penerima tanpa adanya campur tangan pihak ketiga. Steganografi adalah salah satu metode untuk mencegah pihak ketiga mendeteksi informasi rahasia. Diperlukan metode penyembunyian data dengan kualitas stego yang baik serta peningkatan jumlah payload yang bisa dimasukkan.
Dalam studi ini, kami meningkatkan kualitas video hasil penyisipan dengan menggunakan beberapa level prediction error agar nilai pada prediction error lebih mirip dengan nilai terdekatnya. Kemiripan nilai meningkatkan kapasitas muatan yang dapat dimasukkan dan mengurangi kemungkinan perubahan selama proses pergeseran. Berdasarkan percobaan, kami menemukan bahwa ada peningkatan ukuran muatan maksimal yang bisa disematkan dan juga peningkatan kualitas stego dari metode lain untuk berbagai sampul video. Metode ini juga termasuk reversible data hiding (RDH). Video yang diekstraksi sama dengan video cover.

With the development of information technology, information exchange will occur more and more frequently. Information security is one of the problems that must be resolved to protect the information from the sender to reach the recipient without any third-party interference. Steganography is one method of preventing third parties from detecting confidential information. It requires a data hiding method with good stego quality and an increase in the number of payloads that can be entered.
In this study, we improved the quality of the embedded video by using several levels prediction errors to make the values in the prediction error more like their closest values. The similarity in value will increases the capacity of payloads that can be embedded and reduces the possibility of changing it during the shifting process. Based on experiments, we found that there is an increase in the size of the maximum embeddable payload as well as an increase in stego quality over other methods for various video covers. This method is also a reversible data hiding (RDH), so the extracted video is the same as the cover video.
