Abstract

Perencanan distribusi adalah salah satu hal paling penting di dalam proses produksi sebuah perusahaan. Proses optimasi yang dilakukan dalam perencanaan distribusi, akan menghasilkan model distribusi yang optimal dengan biaya pemenuhan kebutuhan yang minimal. Dengan memperhitungkan biaya-biaya distribusi dan kebutuhan-kebutuhan yang harus dipenuhi, maka jumlah produk optimal yang harus diproduksi oleh sebuah perusahaan dapat dicari.
UD BA adalah sebuah UKM yang bergerak di bidang pengolahan susu dan terletak di desa Pujon Kidul. Produk-produk hasil olahan susu tersebut didistribusikan langsung kepada konsumen oleh UD BA. Dalam pengembangannya, UD BA berencana untuk menambah jumlah produk dan jumlah konsumen.
Pengembangan usaha dengan menambah jumlah konsumen, sentra produksi, serta sentra penjualan, tentu akan menimbulkan adanya penambahan biaya. Di antara biaya-biaya tersebut adalah biaya pengiriman, baik dari sentra menuju konsumen, sentra menuju pusat penjualan, dan dari pusat penjualan menuju konsumen. Selain biaya pengiriman, terdapat juga biaya penyimpanan ketika hasil produksi periode sebelumnya digunakan untuk memenuhi permintaan periode berikutnya.
Linear programming sering digunakan sebagai metode untuk menemukan solusi optimal, dengan tujuan meminimalkan biaya maupun memaksimalkan keuntungan. Dalam penelitian ini, linear programming digunakan untuk menentukan jumlah produk optimal yang akan dikirim menuju konsumen maupun sentra penjualan, agar biaya yang dikeluarkan minimal. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa biaya minimum untuk pemenuhan permintaan adalah Rp 9.561.158. Bahkan, dalam penelitian ini dapat dilihat alur distribusi produk-produk dari sentra produksi menuju konsumen.

Distribution planning is one of the most important part in a company’s production process. Optimization at a distribution planning will give an optimal distribution model with minimum cost of fulfilling demand. Considering distribution costs and demand that must be fulfilled, the optimal products that produced by company can be calculated.
UD BA is a small-medium enterprise that makes a dairy product, located at Pujon Kidul village. The dairy products distributed directly to consumers by UD BA. In the future, UD BA planned to add some products and the number of consumers.
The expansion by adding the number of consumers, production center, and selling center, should raises some cost. Some of the costs are shipping cost, whether from production center to consumer directly, production center to selling center, and from celling center to consumer. In addition to shipping cost, there is a storage cost, when the product from some production period, used to fulfill the demand of the next period.
Linear programming frequently used for a method to find some optimal solution, with minimize cost or maximize profit as a goal. In this research, linear programming used to find the optimal number of products that produced by production center, and ship to the consumer or to the selling center with the minimum cost of fulfilling demand. This research showed that minimum cost of fulfilling demand is Rp 9.561.158. Moreover, it showed the distribution flows of the products from the production center to consumer.
