Abstract

PT. Petrokimia Gresik sebagai perusahaan yang bergerak dibidang produsen pupuk dalam jumlah besar memerlukan pembangkit dengan koordinasi proteksi sistem kelistrikan yang efektif dan selektif. Untuk meningkatkan keandalan sistem kelistrikan, PT. Petrokimia Gresik dapat mengubah koordinasi proteksinya yang sebelumnya berupa jaringan interkoneksi sistem ring bus yang diubah skema backbone nya demi sistem kelistrikan yang lebih aman dan efektif. Adanya perubahan koordinasi proteksi pada sistem kelistrikan PT. Petrokimia Gresik mengakibatkan koordinasi proteksi tersebut perlu dievaluasi kembali. Pada tugas akhir ini, koordinasi proteksi yang dievaluasi yaitu rele arus lebih untuk gangguan fasa dan untuk gangguan ke tanah sebagai pengaman ring bus dan pengaman transformator. Evaluasi setting koordinasi proteksi pada PT. Petrokimia Gresik ini perlu memperhatikan nilai arus dan waktu dalam keadaan normal maupun dalam keadaan gangguan kelistrikan. Pada tugas akhir ini dilakukan evaluasi setting koordinasi proteksi di sisi kelistrikan beban dan sisi ring bus. Hasil koordinasi proteksi ini dapat melindungi peralatan dari gangguan arus lebih yang berupa arus beban lebih dan arus hubung singkat. Selain itu, hasil koordinasi proteksi pada tugas akhir ini dapat melindungi peralatan utama seperti motor, transformator dan generator.

PT. Petrokimia Gresik, as a company engaged in fertilizer
manufacturer in large numbers requires generators with an effective and
selective electrical system protection coordination. To increase the
reliability of the electrical system, PT. Petrokimia Gresik can change its
protection coordination which was previously a ring bus system
interconnection network whose backbone scheme was changed for a safer
and more effective electrical system. changes in protection coordination
in the electrical system of PT. Petrokimia Gresik resulted in this
proctection coordination be re-evaluated. In this final project, protection
coordination of overcurrent relay for phase fault and overcurrent relay
for ground fault as bus ring safety and transformer safety need to be
evaluated. Evaluation of protection coordination settings at PT.
Petrokimia Gresik needs to pay attention to the value of current and time
in normal conditions and in a state of electrical fault. In this final project
an evaluation of protection coordination settings is carried out on the
electrical side of the load and the side of the ring bus. The results of this
protection coordination can protect equipment from overcurrent fault in
the form of overload currents and short circuit currents. In addition, the
results of protection coordination in this final project can protect the main
equipment such as motors, transformers and generators.
