Abstract
Madu merupakan cairan alamiah yang banyak mengandung zat gula yang dihasilkan oleh lebah (genus apis) dari nektar bunga dan rasabya manis. Untuk mendapatkan madu, diperlukan proses pemerasan sarang lebah yang kemudian menghasilkan madu cair. Proses manual yang di gunakan di UMKM ini yaitu menggunakan tangan kosong atau dengan memasukkan sarang lebah kedalam wadah dengan menggunakan media saringan berupa kain akan membutuhkan waktu yang relatif lama, sehingga diperlukan mesin pemeras madu yang digunakan untuk mempermudah proses pemerasan madu dan penghematan waktu. Tujuan dari tugas akhir ini adalah untuk membahas perhitungan elemen yaitu, gaya daya, poros, pasak dan bearing, dengan bahasan 1) gaya dan daya yang diperlukan, 2) diameter poros yang dipakai, 3) dimensi pasak serta bahan yang dipakai, 4) jenis dan umur bearing pada mesin peniris madu.
Dalam pembuatan mesin pemeras madu yang diajukan sebagai solusi permasalahan yang ada, dibutuhkan beberapa proses dan metode seperti observasi pada UMKM tersebut, studi literatur berdasarkan permalahan yang ada dilanjutkan dengan pendesainan alat pemeras madu. Dan juga dilakukan perhitungan-perhitungan guna mendapatkan pemilihan komponen yang tepat. Dengan hasil akhir berupa hasil pengujian.
Berdasarkan rancangan hasil perhitungan, maka alat peniris madu yang akan digunakan membutuhkan daya 0.91 Kw dan perencanaan daya motor sebesar 0.18 Kw, dengan bahan poros dan pasak 2205 Duplex stainless steel, diameter poros 16 mm dan panjang poros 955 mm, lebar pasak 4 mm dan panjang pasak 1.03 mm, serta jenis bearing 1 ball bearing dan jenis bearing 2 tapered roller bearing, diameter dalam bearing 15mm dengan perkiraan umur bearing pada bantalan A 7822,9 jam-kerja, bantalan B 24579,3 jam-kerja, dan bantalan C 22,77.106 jam-kerja. Setelah dilakukan percobaan, didapatkan hasil dengan berat sarang total sebelum ditiriskan ± 8 kg mendapatkan madu seberat lebih dari 5kg.

Honey is a natural liquid that contains lots of sugars produced by bees (genus apis) from flower nectar and has a sweet taste. To get honey, a bee hive squeeze process is needed which then produces liquid honey. The manual process used in this UMKM is using bare hands or by inserting a honeycomb into a container by using a filter media in the form of cloth. The purpose of this final project is to discuss the calculation of elements, namely, power force, shaft, post and bearing, with a discussion of 1) the required force and power, 2) the diameter of the shaft used, 3) the dimensions of the post and the material used, 4) the type of and bearing life on the honey slicing machine.
In making a honey squeezer machine that is proposed as a solution to existing problems, several processes and methods are needed, such as observations on UMKM, literature studies based on existing problems, followed by designing a honey squeezer. And also performed calculations in order to get the right component selection. With the final result in the form of test results..
Based on the calculation results, the honey slicer that will be used requires a power of 0.91 kw and a planning motor power of 0.18 kw, using a shaft and a peg of 2205 Duplex stainless steel, with a shaft diameter of 16mm and a shaft length of 855mm, a peg width of 4mm and a peg length of 1 .03 mm, as well as bearing type 1 ball bearing and bearing type 2 tapered roller bearings, bearing inner diameter 15mm with an estimated bearing life of 7822.9 working-hours in bearing A, bearing B 24579.3 working-hours, and bearing C 22,77.106 working-hours. After the experiment, the results obtained with the total weight of the nest before being drained ± 8 kg to get honey weighing more than 5 kg.
