Abstract

Di Indonesia industri cat dan bangunan merupakan segmentasi pasar terbesar dari pigmen merah. Kebutuhan pigmen di indonesia sebagian besar dipenuhi dengan impor dari negara Jerman, China dan India. Bahan baku yang akan digunakan dalam pembuatan pigmen merah adalah pasir besi sebagai bahan utama, HCl, NaOH dan air sebagai bahan pendukung. Di Indonesia sendiri memiliki sumber daya pasir besi yang tersebar dipesisir barat sumatera, sepanjang pantai selatan Pulau Jawa, Maluku dan lainnya. Dengan garis pantai yang sangat panjang, Indonesia memiliki potensi pasir besi dengan jumlah total sumber daya dan cadangan masing masing 4.280 juta ton dan 750 juta ton dengan sumber daya endapan pasir mencapai 65%, sementara kandungan Fe total dari cadangan pasir besi mencapai 45%. Pabrik Pigmen Merah ini direncakan mulai beroperasi tahun 2023 dengan kapasitas produksi sebesar 5000 ton/tahun. Lokasi pendirian pabrik ini direncakan di Bangun Cipto Kecamatan Sentolo Kabupaten Kulon Progo Provinsi Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta. Kecamatan Sentolo dipilih karena dekat dengan sumber tambang pasir besi di pesisir Pantai Selatan yang memiliki jumlah bahan baku 422.874.633 ton dengan kandungan besi 77%. Untuk target pasar dari pabrik ini ialah industry garmen dan cat yang cukup banyak ditemukan di Provinsi Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta maupun Jawa Tengah. Proses produksi pigmen merah dapat diuraikam menjadi 3 tahapan proses yaitu leaching, pemurnian dan presipitasi serta pembentukan pigmen. Pra Rancangan Pabrik Pigmen Merah dengan Metode Presipitasi ini dirancang sebagai perusahaan yang berbadan hukum Perseroan Terbatas dengan system organisasi garis dan staf. Untuk dapat mendirikan pabrik dengan kapasitas produksi sebesar 5000 ton/tahun, maka diperlukan total modal investasi sebesar Rp 218.749.601.339 dan total biaya produksi sebesar Rp 158.046.783.770 dengan estimasi hasil penjualan sebesar Rp. Rp 250.000.000.000,- . Estimasi umur pabrik ini adalah 10 tahun dengan Internal Rate of Return (IRR) 29,21% dan Pay Out Time (POT) 3,9 Tahun.

In Indonesia, the paint and building industry is the largest market segmentation for red pigments. Pigment needs in Indonesia are mostly met by imports from Germany, China and India. The raw materials to be used in the manufacture of red pigment are iron sand as the main ingredient, HCl, NaOH and water as supporting materials. In Indonesia itself has iron sand resources scattered on the west coast of Sumatra, along the southern coast of Java, Maluku and others. With a very long coastline, Indonesia has the potential for iron sands with total resources and reserves of 4,280 million tons and 750 million tons, respectively, with sand deposits reaching 65%, while the total Fe content of iron sand reserves reaches 45%. The Red Pigment Factory is planned to start operating in 2023 with a production capacity of 5000 tons/year. The location for the establishment of this factory is planned in Bangun Cipto, Sentolo District, Kulon Progo Regency, Yogyakarta Special Region Province. Sentolo sub-district was chosen because it is close to the source of iron sand mines on the coast of the South Coast which has a total raw material of 422,874,633 tons with an iron content of 77%. The target market for this factory is the garment and paint industry which is quite a lot found in the Special Region of Yogyakarta and Central Java. The red pigment production process can be broken down into 3 stages, namely leaching, purification and precipitation and pigment formation. The Pre-Design of the Red Pigment Factory with the Precipitation Method is designed as a company incorporated as a Limited Liability Company with a line and staff organization system. To be able to establish a factory with a production capacity of 5000 tons/year, a total investment capital of Rp. 218,749,601,339 is required and a total production cost of Rp. 158,046,783,770 with an estimated sales result of Rp. IDR 250,000,000,000,- . The estimated age of this factory is 10 years with an Internal Rate of Return (IRR) of 29.21% and a Pay Out Time (POT) of 3.9 years.
