Abstract

PT. Cilegon Fabricators berdiri sejak 17 Maret 1984 dengan bergerak dibidang steel manufacture technical assistence dari perusahaan Emoto, Jepang. Perusahaan ini bergerak di bidang steel manufacture dan menghasilkan produksi 20.000 ton Steel Sturcture pertahunnya, Boiler Part 7.800 ton pertahunnya, Heat Recovery Steam Generator 4.000 ton pertahunnya. Perusahaan ini berlokasi di bojonegara, serang.

Dalam menunjang produksi material perusahaan menggunakan alat angkat berupa crane yakni overhead crane, gantry crane, dan semi gantry crane. Untuk meningkatkan kualitas produksi perusahaan melakukan perawatan terhadap crane, dengan mengevaluasi diharapkan dapat mengurangi dampak tejadinya kegagalan produksi perusahaan.

Dari hasil evaluasi didapatkan bahwa masih terdapat part overhead crane yang masih dilakukan breakdown maintenance pada part contactor, motor hoist, dan pulley hoist. Part ini sangat kritis jika dibiarkan secara lama. Nilai MTBF dan MTTR yang terjadi 317,687 dan 3,25.

PT. Cilegon Fabricators was founded on March 17, 1984, and it specializes in steel fabrication with help from the Emoto firm in Japan. This steel manufacturing company produces 20,000 tons of steel structure per year, 7,800 tons of boiler parts per year, and 4,000 tons of heat recovery steam generator per year. This company is based in Serang's Bojonegara.

Cranes, such as overhead cranes, gantry cranes, and semi-gantry cranes, are used to support material manufacturing. The company does crane maintenance to improve the quality of production, and by analyzing it, it is intended to lessen the impact of the company's production failure.

According to the findings of the examination, overhead crane parts such as contactors, hoist motors, and pulley hoists are currently undergoing breakdown maintenance. If this portion is left unattended for an extended period of time, it will become quite dangerous. The MTBF and MTTR readings were 317.687 and 3.25, respectively.
