Abstract

Information is power is a term where people are very dependent on information. Even today’s information is often used as a weapon to influence a person's behavior, as is the case in the process of buying and selling shares. This is found through the number of influencers who have seen their share ownership look profitable. So from here, the public needs to have an in-depth understanding of stocks so that they are not easily carried away by public opinion. In order to make it easier for the public to invest and learn about stocks, IPOT and Ternak Uang applications were developed. However, users do not feel comfortable when using the applications, so the use of this application is not optimal. This study aims to analyze the usability in the evaluation of IPOT and Ternak Uang applications. This research was conducted by giving 10 task scenarios that represent all the features in the application. Participants in this study were 16 people consisting of 8 people aged 17-25 years and 8 people aged 26-35 years consisting of experienced and inexperienced. The methods used in this research include People At The Center Mobile Application Development (PACMAD). The results of effectiveness, efficiency, learnability, memorability, errors, satisfaction, and cognitive load from IPOT/Ternak Uang application are 44/43%, 0,072/0,065, ∆ = 34/30%, ∆ = 40/40%, 32,5/40%, 47,97/54,06, and 10/9 of problem clusters.
