Abstract
PT. X is one of oil and gas production companies in Indonesia. Oil treating plant is a series of processes to stabilize crude oil to meet consumer specifications. To maintain the stabilization of oil production, the plant must have a good level of security and an accurate analysis of potential hazards in order to avoid operating failures. The first analysis of potential hazards is a qualitative analysis of HAZOP with a PEAR approach. The analysis results show that the unit has 44.8% low risk, 51% medium risk, and 0.4% high risk. The second hazard analysis is a quantitative LOPA of 10 scenarios with the results of the SIL rating for each scenario being at the SIL level of 1-SIL 0. The next analysis is a FLOPA analysis with input from both conventional hazard analyzes (HAZOP and LOPA) which have been carried out to see the final risk level of the unit. oil treating. FLOPA simulation results show the final risk level is in the low risk category. FLOPA also produces a SIL Rating for each hazard scenario and the results are valid with conventional LOPA analysis, namely the unit is in SIL 1-SIL 0. The recommendation that can be given is to add a SIS architectural configuration in the form of sensing element 1oo2 – final element 1oo2 in 6 scenarios, and recommendations in the form of adding safety devices in 4 other hazard scenarios.
