Abstract

Peningkatan kebutuhan pangan khususnya beras merupakan masalah serius khususnya di Indonesia. Namun banyak petani yang usianya sudah tidak produktif lagi. Perancangan Rice Transplanter ini bertujuan untuk mendorong terciptanya teknologi modern dalam proses pertanian khususnya dalam penanaman padi agar produktivitas pangan di Indonesia meningkat.
Konsep desain mengadopsi metode Tanam Padi Jajar Legowo 2 : 1, dengan pengaturan jarak yang diaplikasikan dari perbandingan Transmisi sehingga menghasilkan jarak yang sama dan seragam. Penampung bibit padi juga diberi transmisi agar pengambilan bibit pada penampung oleh picker bisa merata. Mesin ini diharapkan mampu membantu Petani mempersingkat proses penanaman bibit padi.
Dari hasil perencanaan dan perhitungan dihasilkan mesin yang mampu menanam padi seluas 0,27 ha/Jam, dengan 2 transmisi penggerak penampung bibit padi yang memakai rantai nomer 50, ukuran sprocket 30 mm di transmisi pertama dengan perbandingan 1:1 dan 505mm pada transmisi kedua dengan rasio 1:10 agar pengambilan bibit pada penampung padi bisa merata. Poros yang digunakan adalah poros dengan diameter 30 mm agar memenuhi perencanaan diameter aman pada perhitungan poros dan panjang 110mm dengan bahan ST37. Tipe bearing yang digunakan pada poros adalah tipe ball bearing, diameter bore 30mm. dalam satu poros ini menggunakan 2 buah bearing.

Increasing food needs especially rice is a serious problem, especially in Indonesia. But many farmers are no longer productive age. The design of Rice Transplanter aims to encourage the creation of modern technology in agricultural processes, especially in rice planting so that food productivity in Indonesia increases.
The design concept adopts the Method of Planting Rice Jajar Legowo 2:1, with the distance settings applied from the transmission comparison so as to produce the same distance and uniform. Rice seed containers are also given transmission so that the collection of seedlings in the container by the picker can be evenly distributed. This machine is expected to help farmers shorten the process of planting rice seedlings.
From the results of planning and calculation produced a machine capable of planting rice covering an area of 0.27 ha/ Hour, with 2 transmissions of rice seed container drive using chain number 50, sprocket size 30 mm in the first transmission with a ratio of 1:1 and 505mm in the second transmission with a ratio of 1:10 so that the collection of seedlings in rice containers can be evenly distributed. The shaft used is diameter of 30 mm to meet the safe diameter planning on the calculation of shafts and lengths of 110mm with material ST37. The type of bearing used on the shaft is ball bearing type, bore diameter is 30mm. in one shaft uses 2 bearings.
