Abstract

Diesel Engine Generator (DEG) is a reliable resource in areas
that have not been touched by the electricity network because
maintenance is fairly easy. However, DEG has a disadvantage, namely
the use of wasteful fuel, which makes its use expensive. One way to
reduce the cost of using DEG generators is to combine them with
photovoltaic (PV) plants. The speed of the generator also affects its fuel
consumption. Therefore, in this topic, a generator whose speed is
controlled follows the load so that the generator can work at its optimum
point. The generator used in this topic is a permanent magnet synchronous
generator (PMSG), the generator is a generator that can produce microscale electrical energy. In this topic, we try a controller based on adaptive
neuro fuzzy inference system (ANFIS). The ANFIS tested on this topic
uses 6 layers which include input layer, fuzzification layer, rule layer,
normalization layer, defuzzification layer and summation layer. The
purpose of this research is to optimize the DEG – PV hybrid power system
using Direct Current (DC) load. Simulations were made using the
Simulink matlab application.
