Abstract

Penelitian yang berjudul “Studi Homogenitas Fantom dengan Variabel Echo Time pada Quality Assurance dan Quality Control Magnetic Resonance Imaging” dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui homogenitas fantom dengan menggunakan metode quality control dan quality assurance dengan variabel echo-time. Pada penelitian ini citra didapatkan dengan menggunakan prosedur Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) pada Fantom MR-Phantom 1900 ml 8624186 K2285 dengan MRI Siemens MAGNETOM Aera 1.5 T menggunakan 12 variable echo-time. Citra yang didapatkan akan diolah dengan software imageJ untuk menentukan region-of-interest (ROI) dan dicari nilai presentase homogenitasnya. Dalam penelitian ini digunakan 3 ROI pada fantom untuk mencari nilai homogenitas pada irisan 8, 9, dan 10 pada citra dan dengan menggunakan persamaan Percent Image Uniformity (PIU) untuk mencari nilai presentase homogenitas pada setiap irisan. Hasil nilai homogenitas yang didapatkan dari penilitian memiliki nilai yang relatif sama pada setiap irisan tetapi memiliki nilai yang berbeda pada ROI yang berbeda.

The research titled “Study of Phantom Homogeneity with Echo Time Variations In Quality Assurance and Quality Control of Magnetic Resonance Imaging” has been conducted. The goal is to find phantom homogeneity with quality assurance and quality control as research method with echo time variations. In this research data was acquired using QA/QC method on MR-Phantom 1900 ml 8624186 K2285 using Siemens MAGNETOM Aera 1.5 T with 12 echo-time variables. The acquired imaged was processed using ImageJ to find region of interest and homogeneity percentage. In this research three region of interest were used to find the homogeneity for slice 8, 9, and 10 using percent image uniformity (PIU) equation to find the homogeneity percentage for each slices. The acquired results shows the homogeneity percentage of the image have a relatively same value for each slices but for each ROI have different values.
