Abstract

Industri semen merupakan salah satu industri yang berkembang sangat pesat seiring dengan pertumbuhan pembangunan di Indonesia. Hampir semua pembangunan membutuhkan semen sebagai bahan perekatnya. Pada umumnya terdapat beberapa jenis semen yang berada dipasaran, salah satunya adalah Semen Portland Komposit. Proses pembuatan semen yang terpilih adalah proses kering. Pada proses penyiapan bahan baku batu kapur dan tanah liat, Di Crusher batu kapur ini dipecah oleh Hammer dan tanah liat melewati clay cutter sehingga terjadi size reduction. Material yang berupa pasir silika, pasir besi dan mix pile keluar dari binnya dan diumpankan pada raw mill. Produk dari raw mill akan dialirkan ke preheater, lalu diumpankan ke dalam kiln dengan suhu masuk 855oC. Di dalam kiln akan mengalami proses pembakaran dengan suhu 1250-1450oC, sehingga menghasilkan senyawa clinker yang akan mengalami pendinginan di dalam clinker cooler. Proses penggilingan akhir dimulai dari proses penyiapan bahan tambahan yaitu gypsum dan fly ash yang akan diumpankan ke dalam ball mill menjadi semen yang berukuran 325 mesh. Pabrik semen beroperasi secara continuous selama 300 hari/tahun memiliki kapasitas 2.850.000 ton/tahun dan membutuhkan bahan baku baku batu kapur 440.593 kg/jam, tanah liat 66.925 kg/jam, pasir silika 44.617 kg/jam, pasir besi 5.577 kg/jam, gypsum 34420,26 kg/jam, Fly ash 17210,13 kg/jam menghasilkan produk sebanyak 2850000 ton/tahun.

The cement industry is one of the industries that is growing very rapidly along with the growth of development in Indonesia. Almost all construction requires cement as the adhesive material. In general, there are several types of cement on the market, one of which is Composite Portland Cement. The selected cement manufacturing process is a dry process. In the process of preparing limestone and clay raw materials, the limestone crusher is broken down by a hammer and the clay passes through a clay cutter so that size reduction occurs. The material in the form of silica sand, iron sand and mix pile comes out of the bin and is fed to the raw mill. The product from the raw mill will be flowed to the preheater, then fed into the kiln with an inlet temperature of 855oC. In the kiln it will undergo a combustion process with a temperature of 1250-1450oC, resulting in a clinker compound which will be cooled in the clinker cooler. The final milling process starts from the process of preparing additional materials, namely gypsum and fly ash which will be fed into the ball mill into cement with a size of 325 mesh. The cement factory operates continuously for 300 days/year, has a capacity of 2.850.000 tons/year and requires raw materials of limestone 440.593 kg/hour, clay 66,925 kg/hour, silica sand 44,617 kg/hour, iron sand 5.577 kg/hour , gypsum 34420.26 kg/hour, Fly ash 17210.13 kg/hour produce as much as 2850000 tons/year.
