Abstract

The lamp technology used in the Instrumentation Engineering Department is still manual in its technology, it is not effective when entering the rainy season. The impact is a waste of electricity because the lights are not turned off and there is a potential for fires because the lights are constantly on. There is no monitoring of the lamp load in its use, resulting in no range of costs incurred for lamps. From these problems, an innovation in lamp automation technology is needed. The smart lamp will adjust the lighting level in the hallway of the Instrumentation Engineering Department with an LDR (Light Dependent Resistance) sensor and dimmer to adjust the lighting level of the lamp with outside lighting conditions. The components used are LDR sensor, ACS712 sensor, dimmer, servo motor and ESP32. The LDR sensor on the smart lamp prototype has an accuracy rate of 96.13%, and an error of 3.87%. The ACS712 sensor has an accuracy rate of 99.78% and an error percentage of 0.22%. In 1 hour the cost of using the lamp is Rp. 256 with a voltage of about 3.8V and a current of 0.7-1.4 A.
