Abstract

Conflict, terrorism, civil and ethnic wars are problems that are still ongoing even today. Starting off from the predictions written in the book The Next 100 Years and The Future of Warfare 2030, human civilization will be stricken by various conflicts and wars that eventually impact on the start of World War 3 which would happen approximately in 2050.
Architecture, of course, has its correlation with war. War, however, is an event that can destroy space, time, and human memory. Still, this does not mean that the destruction leads to an 'absence' of Architecture. Taking place in the year 2050, and with World War 3 as the background of event, the next question that arises is: how can Architecture respond to the destruction, the events of World War 3, and the negative impacts it has left?
Focusing on stress, pressure, and the impact of war on the human psychic condition, hallucinations and delusions as coping mechanism when dealing with extreme stress are used as the glasses to design architectural object that will form perceptions that are distorted or different from the actual reality.
