Abstract

The condition of the Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic continues to increase, therefore it is necessary to design equipment that can prevent COVID-19, namely medical equipment. The sterilizer system on the market currently does not have control of oxygen flow and pressure so that ozone production is not controlled because the flow and pressure of oxygen that will enter the ozone reactor is not controlled which causes ozone to enter excessively and does not comply with the standardization of ozone levels in medical equipment.
To meet the needs of the sterilizer PT. Parametrik Solusi Integrasi makes medical equipment sterilizers using ozone gas (O3) with the Dielectric Barrier Discharge (DBD) generation method with the addition of oxygen flow and pressure control using the fuzzy logic method. The flow and pressure control carried out on this sterilizer is intended so that the flow and pressure produced will be more controlled. The use of fuzzy as the method used aims to get the value of the flow rate and pressure following the set point.
The system using fuzzy logic makes a response according to the specified standard and approaches the given set point with a flow rate value of 5 Lpm and a pressure of 120 kPa with an average oxygen flow error of 4.3% and an average oxygen pressure error of 3.9%.
