Abstract

In this final project, a device that can communicate with other devices is made using an industry standard communication protocol, namely the Modbus RTU protocol. In this device there will be a control system equipped with a mathematical algorithm, bresenham algorithm and two analog sensors and two Linear Guide Actuators (LGA). Testing this device using modbus software by sending an address / command which can then move two Linear Guide Actuators (LGA) synchronously. The results obtained in this study are the reading data of two Lidar sensors, each movement of the linear guide actuator of 1000 microsteps is equal to 1.5 cm and the success of sending registers from PC software with input steps parameters, speed values, acceleration values, and movement modes using bresenham and no bresenham to drive two Linear Guide Actuators (LGA) in sync. Obtained from the test results with a maximum value of 32000 microsteps input steps equal to 48 cm and can be reached in 32 seconds.
