Abstract
Salah satu komponen yang vital dalam hal suplai energy yakni Natural gas, dengan karakteristik yang dimiliki natural gas sebagai energi bersih, aman dan paling efisien. Komposisi utama dari Natural gas yakni Metana dan beberapa komponen penyusun natural gas yang lain seperti Etana, Propane , Butane dan hidrokarbon berat.
Liquefied Natural Gas yakni gas alam yang dicairkan dengan cara penurunan suhu sekitar -160˚C dan pada tekanan atmosfer. Liquefied Natural Gas merupakan metode yang sangat membantu transportasi Natural gas agar dapat terdistribusi secara menyeluruh.
Pabrik ini direncanakan akan didirikan di Tanjung Api-Api, Sumatera Selatan untuk pemasaran produk LNG akan diekspor ke Jepang. Pabrik ini memiliki kapasitas 500 MMSCFD. Proses pembuatan LNG dari gas alam ini menggunakan beberapa rangkaian proses yakni Unit Acid Gas Removal, Dehydration, Liquefaction. Proses dibutuhkan bahan baku gas alam sebesar 438.545 kg/jam dapat menghasilkan LNG sebesar 383.645,8 kg/jam.
Dari analisa perhitungan ekonomi didapat hasil yaitu Total Capital Investment sebesar Rp 104.066.995.823.469, Total Production Cost sebesar Rp 28.507.686.660.903, IRR sebesar 17,8% pertahun, POT sebesar 5,65 tahun, dan NPV sebesar Rp 58.227.324.770.663
Dari ketiga parameter diatas yakni IRR, POT, BEP terlihat bahwa pabrik LNG dari gas alam ini layak untuk didirikan.

One of the vital components in terms of energy supply is Natural gas, with the characteristics that natural gas has as clean, safe and most efficient energy. The main composition of natural gas is methane and some other natural gas constituent components such as Ethane, Propane, Butane and heavy hydrocarbons.
Liquefied Natural Gas is a natural gas that is liquefied by decreasing the temperature by about -160 °C and at atmospheric pressure. Liquefied Natural Gas is a method that greatly helps natural gas transportation in order to be distributed thoroughly.
The plant is planned to be established in Tanjung Api-Api, South Sumatra for the marketing of LNG products to be exported to Japan. The plant has a capacity of 500 MMSCFD. The process of making LNG from natural gas uses several series of processes, namely Acid Gas Removal Unit, Dehydration, Liquefaction.
The process required natural gas raw materials of 438,545 kg / hour can produce LNG of 383,645.8 kg / hour. From the analysis of economic calculations obtained the results are Total Capital Investment of Rp 104,066,995,823,469, Total Production Cost of Rp 28,507,686,660,903, IRR of 17.8% per year, POT of 5.65 years, and NPV of Rp 58,227,324,770,663
From the three parameters above, namely IRR, POT, BEP, it appears that the LNG plant of natural gas is feasible to be established.
