Abstract

Cahaya memiliki peran yang kuat dalam menerjemahkan intensi ruang kepada user yang mendiaminya. Cahaya alami dengan sifat yang dinamis menciptakan beragam skenario pada konteks yang terpapar. Rancangan arsitektur dapat memanfaatkan cahaya alami sebagai elemen utama untuk mengekspresikan ruang sebagai pengalaman ruang dengan skenario yang dinamis kepada pengguna. Beragam pengaturan terhadap cahaya alami yang jatuh di dalam ruang membentuk keberagaman atmosfer yang akan ditangkap oleh user dengan berbagai persepsi sebagai konsekuensi dari pengalaman ruang di dalam rancangan. Setting diwujudkan oleh konfigurasi selubung sebagai komponen yang memisahkan lingkungan dalam dari lingkungan luar ruangan dan membentuk rancangan spasial.
Fungsi rancangan berupa museum yang merupakan sarana untuk mewadahi atmosfer serta pengalaman ruang yang beragam dengan susunan intensi tertentu. User dalam spasial dirumuskan sebagai ‘penjelajah ruang’ dengan tindakan user dalam menemukan ragam pengalaman baru di tiap ruangnya pada konteks museum. Susunan intensi tersebut dibangun dengan pendekatan mimesis terhadap fenomena alam yang berhubungan dengan konteks museum. Susunan tersebut menciptakan alur yang dikemas dengan metode sequence narrative dengan rancangan untuk mengarahkan pengunjung berjalan dari ruang ke ruang sehingga menangkap artikulasi narasi yang ingin disampaikan.

Light has a strong role in translating the intention of space to the users who inhabit it. Natural light with dynamic properties creates a variety of scenarios in the exposed context. Architectural design can utilize natural light as the main element to express space in creating the space experience with dynamic scenarios for users. Various settings for natural light falling in the space form a variety of atmospheres that will be captured by users with various perceptions as a consequence of the experience of space in the design. Setting is created by the configuration of the envelope as the component that separates the indoor environment from the outdoor environment and it forms a spatial design.
The design function is in the form of a museum that means to accommodate the atmosphere and diverse space experiences with a certain arrangement of intentions. Users in spatial terms are formulated as 'space explorers' with user actions in discovering a variety of new experiences in each space in the context of the museum. The arrangement of intentions is built with a mimetic approach to natural phenomena related to the context of the museum. This arrangement creates a plot that is packaged by the sequence narrative method with a design to direct visitors walking from one room to another room so that they can capture the articulation of the narrative to be conveyed.
