Abstract

Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS) berupaya meningkatkan reputasinya sebagai kampus yang berstatus World Class University. Direktorat Kemitraan Global ITS
(DKG ITS) merupakan unit yang berperan dalam urusan internasionalisasi ITS. DKG ITS memiliki salah satu program yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan upaya internasionalisasi ITS melalui pengoptimalan fasilitas pada kantornya. Banyak agenda dan program DKG ITS terkendala akibat ketersediaan fasilitas. Selain itu citra perusahaan DKG ITS sebagai wajah internasionalisasi ITS pada kantor perlu dikembangkan lagi. Melihat kondisi tersebut kantor DKG ITS memerlukan konsep desain interior yang dapat memberi kesan rumah baru dan wajah ITS dalam upaya internasionalisasi. Penentuan konsep desain interior dilakukan dengan menganalisis hasil data obersvasi dan wawancara pengguna, Proses analisis terbagi menjadi lima tahapan yaitu analisis lokasi, analisis pengguna, analisis kebutuhan ruang, analisis hubungan ruang, dan analisis konsep. Analisis tersebut menghasilkan konsep desain yang bernama Harmony in Diversity . Konsep tersebut didasari atas tiga kriteria penilaian menurut Quacquerelli Symond (QS) Stars Rating yaitu Internationalization, Access/Inclusiveness, Social Responsibility serta brand ITS yang semuanya diterjemahkan ke dalam elemen desain. Konsep tersebut dapat menjadi salah satu upaya dalam branding internasionaliasi ITS. Penerapan konsep Harmony In Diversity berupa suasana interior yang mengandung kesan ‘internasional’, penerapan prinsip universal design, dan penggunaan teknologi pencahayaan dan penghawaan hemat energi. Sedangkan aspek branding ITS diterapkan pada interior kantor berupa aplikasi warna, gubahan bentuk logo pada sebagian elemen dekorasi serta menggunakan produk interior dari beberapa hasil riset peneliti ITS.

ITS International Office (DKG ITS) is a unit that plays a role in ITS internationalization affairs. DKG ITS has a program that aims to increase ITS internationalization efforts through optimizing facilities in its office. Many DKG ITS agendas and programs are constrained due to the availability of facilities. In addition, the image of the ITS DKG company as the face of ITS internationalization in the office needs to be developed. Seeing these conditions, the office of DKG ITS requires an interior
design concept that can give the impression of a new home and the face of ITS in its internationalization efforts.
Determination of interior design concepts is done by analyzing the results of observation data and user interviews. The analysis process is divided into five stages, namely location analysis, user analysis, space requirements analysis, space relationship analysis, and concept analysis. The analysis resulted in a design concept called Harmony in Diversity . This concept is based on three assessment criteria according to Quacquerelli Symond (QS) Stars Rating, namely Internationalization, Access/Inclusiveness, Social Responsibility and the brand ITS, all of which are translated into design elements. This concept can be one of the efforts in ITS internationalization branding. The application of the concept of Harmony in Diversity in the form of an interior atmosphere that contains an 'international' impression, the application of universal design principles, and use of energy efficient lighting and ventilation technology. While the ITS branding aspect is applied to office interiors in the form of color applications, changing the shape of the logo on some decoration elements and using interior products from
several research results of ITS researchers.
