Abstract

Individu yang telah menghadapi kejadian traumatis tertentu memiliki kemungkinkan untuk mengalami Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). PTSD merupakan kelainan mental yang mengurangi kemampuan individu dalam memberi reaksi yang tepat terhadap input yang diterimanya dari lingkungan disekitarnya. Reaksi yang dimaksud dapat berupa reaksi fisik maupun psikis. Reaksi yang kurang tepat ini akan menghambat individu untuk beroperasi dengan semestinya sebagai bagian dari tatanan masyarakat.
PTSD memiliki banyak tipe yang dikategorikan oleh kejadian traumatis terkait. Salah satunya adalah kejadian traumatis tipe pelecehan seksual pada anak. Anak dibawah umur sering menjadi korban dalam kasus-kasus pelecehan.A nak dibawah umur yang disebut sebagai pelaku utama pada generasi penerus tentu memerlukan atensi dan perlakuan lebih yang berintensi memberi kesempatan kepada para korban untuk berkembang sebaik mungkin sehingga dapat beroperasi dengan semestinya sebagai elemen dalam masyarakat.
Perancangan ini berusaha menyelesaikan permasalahan akan minimnya kesempatan para korban pelecehan seksual pada anak untuk dapat berkembang dan beroperasi dengan semestinya sebagai elemen dalam masyarakat. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan Biofilik, rancangan akan berfokus pada membentuk ruang yang mendukung keberlangsungan proses pengobatanpara korban pelecehan seksual pada anak dengan membentuk therapeutic space.
Objek rancang berupa Klinik Mental yang merupakan tempat tinggal sementara untuk para korban pelecehan seksual dan keluarga korban. Tempat ini menawarkan fasilitas, kegiatan, dan program yang dapat diikuti oleh para korban pelecehan secara kolektif. Dengan adanya Klinik Mental diharapkan mampu memberi kesempatan untuk para korban pelecehan seksual untuk beroperasi dengan semestinya.

Individuals who have faced certain traumatic events are more likely to experience Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). PTSD is a mental disorder that reduces an individual's ability to react appropriately to the input it receives from the environment around him. The reaction in question can be in the form of a physical or a psychological reaction. This inappropriate reaction will prevent individuals from operating properly as part of the social fabric.
PTSD has many types that are divided by the associated traumatic event. One of them is a traumatic incident which is associated with sexual harassment where the related cases often occur in private housing. Minors often become victims in cases of abuse in the residential environment. Minors who are said to be the main perpetrators of the next generation certainly need some extra attention and treatment that are intended to provide big opportunities for victims to develop as well as possible so that they can operate properly as elements in society.
This design seeks to solve the problem of the minimal opportunity for victims of child sexual abuse to be able to develop and operate properly as an element in society. By using the Biophilic approach, the design will focus on spaces that support the continuity of activities of victims of child sexual abuse and also focus on spaces that increase the effectiveness of the treatment or therapy process for victims by establishing a therapeutic space.
The design object is Mental Clinic, which is a temporary residence for victims of sexual harassment and victims' families. It offers facilities, activities and programs that victims of abuse can participate in collectively. With the existence of Mental Clinic, it is hoped that it will be able to provide opportunities for victims of sexual harassment to operate properly.
