Abstract

Gereja Kristus Tuhan Getsemani Balung merupakan salah satu gereja Kristen Protestan yang berada di Kabupaten Jember. Gereja Kristus Tuhan memiliki ciri khas yang membedakannya dengan gereja lainnya, yaitu sebagai gereja reformed yang mempercayai bahwa hanya melalui Yesus Kristus manusia memeroleh keselamatan serta mempercayai dan mengimani Ketritunggalan Allah yang semuanya berpedoman pada firman Tuhan itu sendiri berupa Alkitab.
Gereja Kristus Tuhan sudah berdiri sekitar 32 tahun dan belum mendapat renovasi, hal tersebut mempengaruhi terhadap kenyaman para jemaat maupun hamba Tuhan dalam beribadah. Oleh karena itu pada tahun 2020 dilakukan renovasi dan perombakan gereja. Berkaitan dengan perenovasian GKT Getsemani Balung, diperlukan adanya sebuah pembaharuan konsep interior pada gereja untuk menunjang kenyamanan jemaat maupun hamba Tuhan saat beribadah. Hal tersebut dapat dilaksanakan dengan menggunakan metode pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara dengan para pengurus dan hamba Tuhan, serta studi literatur yang terkait dengan objek penelitian.
Penerapan konsep Trinitas (Allah Tritunggal) dengan sentuhan langgam modern klasik menjadi salah satu cara untuk menyelsaikan permasalahan gereja serta dapat menonjolkan ciri khas GKT itu sendiri. Diharapkan melalui rancangan interior GKT Getsemani Balung, para umat gereja dapat menjalin hubungan yang lebih harmonis serta meningkatkan kenyamanan saat mereka beribadah.

Gereja Kristus Tuhan Getsemani Balung is one of the Protestant Christiant churches located in Jember regency. Gereja Kristus Tuhan has a characteristic that distinguishes it from other churches, as a reformed church that believes that only through Jesus Christ people can gain salvation and believe in Trinity of God, all of which are guided by God’s word itself in the form of the Bible.
Gereja Kristus Tuhan has been around 32 years and never renovated, this affect the convenience of the church congregation and God’s servant in worship. Therefore, in 2020, there will be renovation of the church. In connection with the renovation of GKT Getsemani Balung, it is necessary to have a renewal of the interior concept of the church to support the comfort of the church congregation and God's servants when worshiping. The renovation can be carried out using data collection methods through observation, interviews with the church administrators and servants of God, as well as literature studies related to the object of research.
The application of the concept of the Trinity (Triune God) with a touch of classical modern styles is one way to solve church problems and can highlight the characteristics of the GKT itself. It is hoped that through the interior design of GKT Getsemani Balung, church congregation can form a more harmonious relationship and increase the comfort when they worship.
