Abstract

Situ Pondok Jagung merupakan sebuah danau yang terletak di Kecamatan Serpong Utara, Tangerang Selatan. Danau resapan ini memiliki berbagai potensi untuk Tangerang Selatan, diantaranya adalah sebagai tempat untuk berolahraga, memancing, ataupun melihat-lihat pemandangan. Namun, banyak pedagang liar yang berjualan di sekitar danau tersebut dan orang yang berkunjung ke Situ Pondok Jagung juga kurang peduli dengan kebersihan sekitarnya. Situ Pondok Jagung dinilai sebagai tempat yang kumuh oleh warga Tangerang Selatan. Pemerintah Kabupaten Tangerang Selatan akhirnya berencana untuk membuat wisata terapung pada danau tersebut upaya menertibkan pedagang liar, dan meningkatkan pariwisata. Respon arsitektural mengenai isu dibangunnya wisata terapung menunjukkan peran arsitek dalam merancang sebuah arsitektur sebagai solusi. Penggunaan konsep Ekowisata dalam metode desain Ekologi Arsitektur bertujuan untuk mendukung pengembangan rancangan dalam merancang arsitektur sebagai wadah yang memiliki manfaat dalam perekonomian masyarakat sekitar dan berkelanjutan lingkungan.

Situ Pondok Jagung is a lake located in North Serpong District, South Tangerang. This recharge lake has various potentials for South Tangerang including as a place for sports, fishing, or as a tourist spot with a view overlooking the sunrise in the morning. However, there are many illegal hawkers who sell around the lake and people who visit Pondok Jagung Lake who do not care about the hygienic environment of the surroundings. A lot of trash spreading around the Lake. So, Pondok Jagung Lake is known as a slum place for people in South Tangerang. Because of these issues, The South Tangerang Regency Government plans to create floating tourism on the lake to manage illegal hawkers and increase tourism. The architectural response regarding the issue of building floating tourism shows the role of the architect in designing architecture as a solution. The use of ecotourism concept design approach with the Ecological Architecture design methods aims to support the development of designs in designing architecture as a container that has benefits in the economy of surrounding communities and environmental sustainability.
