Abstract

Teknik Instrumentasi adalah salah satu Departemen di Fakultas Vokasi – ITS yang menerapkan pembelajaran praktek. Simulator serupa sebelumnya dibuat belum menerapkan sistem monitoring secara real time berbasis Internet of Things, dimana belum mampu mendukung pembelajaran atau praktikum jarak jauh. Oleh karena itu digagaslah sebuah simulator frekuensi rambat gelombang ultrasonik di berbagai medium. Simulator frekuensi rambat gelombang ultrasonik ini mampu bekerja dengan rentang frekuensi 20 – 1000 KHz dan mampu me-monitoring frekuensi rambat gelombang ultrasonik pada medium udara, kertas, plastik, dan pipa. Penelitian dilakukan dengan membandingkan pembacaan monitoring pada gawai dengan pembacaan standar yaitu Oscilloscope. Didapatkan rekomendasi frekuensi sinyal generator standar yaitu medium udara antara 40 – 150 KHz, kertas antara 40 – 300 KHz, plastik antara 40 – 300 KHz dan pipa PVC antara 40 – 150 KHz, lalu sinyal generator buatan yaitu medium udara antara 40 – 100 KHz, kertas antara 40 – 100 KHz, plastik antara 40 – 100 KHz dan pipa PVC antara 40 – 80 KHz.

Instrumentation Engineering is one of the departments at the Vocational Faculty – ITS that implements practical learning. Similar simulators previously made have not implemented a real time monitoring system based on the Internet of Things, which has not been able to support remote learning or practicum. Therefore, an ultrasonic wave propagation frequency simulator was initiated in various mediums. This ultrasonic wave propagation frequency simulator can work with a frequency range of 20 – 1000 KHz and can monitor the frequency of ultrasonic wave propagation in air, paper, plastic, and pipe media. The research was conducted by comparing the monitoring readings on the device with the standard readings, namely the Oscilloscope. The recommendations for the frequency of a standard generator signal are air medium between 40-150 KHz, paper between 40-300 KHz, plastic between 40-300 KHz, and PVC pipe between 40-150 KHz, then an artificial
generator signal that is air medium between 40-100 KHz, paper between 40 – 100 KHz, plastic between 40 – 100 KHz and PVC pipe between 40 – 80 KHz.
