Abstract

Sekolah merupakan wadah bagi siswa maupun siswi untuk menimba ilmu. Selain peran sekolah sebagai sarana untuk menimba ilmu dalam bidang akademis dan non akademis, sekolah juga merupakan tempat untuk mengembangkan karakter masyarakat. Pentingnya pengembangan karekter serta sifat peduli lingkungan berpengaruh besar terhadap masa depan bangsa.
SMP merupakan program sekolah lanjutan dari Sekolah Dasar (SD) yang dimana siswa siswinya merupakan anak yang memasuki awal remaja, yaitu 13-15 tahun. Dimana pada usia tersebut anak harus dalam pengawasan ketat dikarenakan pada usia tersebut terjadi lonjakan hormone pada remaja sehingga banyak sifat-sifat dan karakteristik remaja yang harus diperhatikan.
Tugas Akhir dengan judul “Desain Interior Smpn 1 Wagir Malang Dengan Konsep Modern Youth Sebagai Sarana Pendewasaan Karakter Dan Sikap Peduli Lingkungan” diterapkan agar untuk mendukung terciptanya Siswa Siswi SMPN 1 Wagir yang berkarakter dan peduli lingkungan.

School is a place for students and students to gain knowledge. In addition to the role of schools as a means to gain knowledge in academic and non-academic fields, schools are also a place to develop community character. The importance of character development and the nature of caring for the environment have a major impact on the nation's future.
SMP is an advanced school program from Elementary School (SD) where the students are children who are entering their early teens, namely 13-15 years. Where at that age children must be under close supervision because at that age there is a surge in hormones in adolescents so that many characteristics and characteristics of adolescents must be considered.
The final project with the title "Interior Design Of Junior High School 1 Malang With The Modern Youth Concept As An Instrument Of Character Growing And Environmental Concern" was applied to support the creation of students of SMPN 1 Wagir who have character and care for the environment.
