Abstract

PT. Sarinah (Persero) Branch Malang merupakan mall pertama di Kota Malang yang memiliki image prestise serta nilai-nilai sejarah di dalamnya. Namun kini masyarakat kurang berminat untuk mengunjungi Sarinah Malang karena outlet yang tidak lagi representatif sebagai outlet cabang Sarinah. Redesain Ritel PT. Sarinah (Persero) Branch Malang sebagai Upaya Rebranding Outlet bertujuan untuk menumbuhkan kembali minat masyarakat mengunjui area ritel Sarinah Malang.
Metode yang dilakukan dalam pengumpulan data Tugas Akhir ini adalah dengan cara observasi objek secara langsung serta wawancara dengan pihak-pihak terkait di PT. Sarinah (Persero) Branch Malang. Selain itu, studi banding serta review literature berbagai sumber juga dilakukan demi menunjang studi.
Kesimpulan yang diambil dari Tugas Akhir ini adalah memberikan wajah baru bagi Sarinah Malang melalui rebranding outlet dalam wujud pengembalian karakter Sarinah, pemunculan ciri khas outlet dengan mengimplementasikan urban history gedung Sarinah Malang, serta meningkatkan kenyamanan bagi pengunjung. Dengan penambahan fasilitas baru sepert area serbaguna serta pameran multimedia. Tugas Akhir ini diharapkan dapat menarik kembali minat masyarakat untuk mengunjungi Sarinah Malang melalui memorable experience serta wajah baru yang ditampilkan Sarinah outlet Malang.

PT. Sarinah (Persero) Malang Branch is the first mall in Malang City to have an image of prestige and historical values in it. But now people are less interested in visiting Sarinah Malang because the outlets are no longer representative as Sarinah branch outlets. Retail Redesign of PT. Sarinah (Persero) Malang Branch as an Attempt of Rebranding Outlet aims to re-grow public interest in visiting the retail area of Sarinah Malang.
The method used in this final project data collection is by direct observation of objects and interviews with related parties at PT. Sarinah (Persero) Malang Branch. In addition, comparative studies and literature reviews of various sources were also carried out to support the study.
The conclusion drawn from this Final Project is to give a new face to Sarinah Malang through rebranding outlets in the form of restoring Sarinah's character, the emergence of outlet characteristics by implementing the urban history of the Sarinah Malang building, and increasing convenience for visitors. With the addition of new facilities such as a multipurpose area and a multimedia exhibition. This final project is expected to attract back the public's interest in visiting Sarinah Malang through a memorable experience and a new face displayed by Sarinah outlet Malang.
