Abstract

Currently the infection of Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) continues to increase, therefore it is necessary to design equipment that can prevent COVID-19, namely medical equipment sterilizers. Sterilizer systems on the market today do not have control of ozone flow and pressure, causing uncontrolled ozone production due to excessive flow and pressure of ozone that will enter and not in accordance with the
standardization of ozone levels in medical equipment. To meet the needs of the sterilizer PT. Parametrik Solusi Integrasi makes medical equipment sterilizers using ozone gas (O3) with the Dielectric Barrier Discharge (DBD) generating method with the addition of ozone flow and pressure control using the fuzzy logic method. The target to be achieved from this final project is a sterilization system that is automatic and can be adjusted to the flow rate, pressure, and ppm levels produced according to the standard medical equipment sterilization system. The actuator used is a servo motor coupled to a valve to regulate the amount of ozone flow, ozone pressure and ozone levels
that enter the sterilizer box with the fuzzy method as the controller. The sterilization system using fuzzy logic makes the system
response according to the specified standard and approaches the given set point with a value of 3 ppm ozone level, 5 Lpm flow rate and 120 kPa pressure with an average ozone flow rate error of 8% and ozone pressure of 2 %.
