Abstract

Pengembangan ekonomi kreatif memiliki pengaruh yang besar terhadap peningkatan perekonomian di Indonesia. Tak lain dengan pengembangan ekonomi kreatif di Kabupaten Gresik. Industri kreatif di Kabupaten Gresik bermula dari kecintaan masyarakat kepada budaya dan kesenian setempat. Sebagai bentuk pelestariannya, pada tahun 1960 dibangun sebuah gedung pertunjukan yaitu Gedung Nasional Indonesia (GNI) oleh beberapa tokoh masyarakat.
Di saat bersamaan, industri kreatif terkini yang sedang berkembang sangat beragam, mulai dari komunitas film, pertunjukan seni musik, teater, dan sebagainya. Kurangnya paparan yang representatif atas keberadaan komunitas ini di mata pemerintah dan masyarakat umum merupakan salah satu permasalahan utama yang mengakibatkan perkembangannya tidak dapat berjalan secara maksimal.
Memiliki status bangunan cagar budaya dengan luas bangun yang terbatas, perancangan redesain GNI sebagai creative space mengaplikasikan konsep fleksibel yang dengan zonasi aktivitas agar ruang yang tersedia dapat berfungsi secara maksimal. Diaplikasikan pula elemen estetika kebudayaan Gresik seperti batik Loh Bandeng, Damar Kurung, serta Gapura Giri Kedaton sebagai identitas GNI sebagai warisan budaya Kabupaten Gresik. Dengan redesain GNI ini diharapkan dapat menjadi wadah berkarya masyarakat terutama pada komunitas musik, film dan teater untuk melakukan kegiatan yang dapat mengembangkan komunitas

The development of the creative economy has a major influence on improving the economy in Indonesia. None other than the development of the creative economy in Gresik. The creative industry in Gresik started from the love of the people for local culture and arts. As a form of its preservation, in 1960 a performance building was built, namely Gedung Nasional Indonesia (GNI) by several community leaders in Gresik.
At the same time, the current creative industries that are developing are very diverse, ranging from communities of movies, music performances, theater, and so on. The lack of representative exposure to the existence of this community in the eyes of the government and the general public is one of the main problems that result in a lack of financial support so their development cannot run optimally.
Having the status of a cultural heritage building with a limited building area, the redesign of GNI as a creative space applies a flexible concept with activity zoning to maximize the available space to function optimally. The aesthetic elements of Gresik's culture are also applied, such as batik Loh Bandeng, Damar Kurung, and the Gapura of Giri Kedaton as the identity of GNI as the cultural heritage of Gresik. With the redesign of GNI, it is hoped that it can become a forum for community work, especially in the music, film, and theater community to carry out activities that can develop the community
