Abstract

Tugas akhir ini membuat sistem pengendalian nutrisi untuk tanaman hidroponik dengan cara mengatur volume air dan campuran dari pupuk AB mix untuk mendapatkan nilai nutrisi atau total dissolve solid (TDS) yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan tamanan hidroponik. Sistem kontrol yang digunakan adalah close loop feedback control. Alat ini dilengkapi dengan gravity analog TDS sensor sebagai elemen umpan balik, arduino mega 2560 sebagai kontroler, dua buah peristaltic pump, dan 2 buah submersible pump sebagai aktuator. Alat ini juga dilengkapi dengan LCD sebagai Human Machine Interface (HMI) yang mampu menampilkan besaran TDS dalam satuan ppm, pH, suhu, dan ketinggian air dalam tangki. Berdasarkan pengujian performa alat pada setpoint 1600 ppm, sistem ini telah dapat bekerja dengan baik, hal itu dibuktikan dengan nilai rising time dari nilai TDS (ppm) sebesar 42 sekon, settling time pada periode waktu ke 42 s- 91 s, dan nilai maximum overshoot sebesar 13%.

Hydroponic farming requires intimate care and treatment of plants. Nutrition is an important factor in its growth. Nutrients or nutrients in plants are obtained from fertilizers that contain complex minerals. The development of agricultural technology can help sustain plant growth, especially in controlling nutrients for plants. This study made nutrional control system by adjusting the output of liquid fertilizer A/B mix to get the TDS (Total Dissolve Solid) value that is in accordance with the needs of hydroponic plants in the irrigation tank. The method used is the Arduino-based close loop feedback control. The components that support this control system are gravity analog TDS sensor as a feedback element, arduino mega 2560 as a controller, a peristaltic pump as an actuator, and a mixing tank as a plant. The result of this study are the rising time of the TDS (ppm) value occurs at the 42 s with a value 1600 ppm, that the settling time occurs during the 42 s- 91 s time period, and the maximum overshoot value is 13%.
