Abstract
Sistem kontrol loading amonia tersebut menghasilkan nilai rise time 53,9 detik, settling time 123 detik, nilai overshoot 1,03, serta adanya nilai error sebesar 3%.

The operator need production equipment that can operate efficiently in the production and distribution process. PT Petrokimia Gresik is a company that seeks to be the best in the industry in terms of the production and distribution process system, based on past system design experience. The previous liquid ammonia distribution system was still manually operated, and the ammonia distribution volume was still inaccurate.
To resolve the disparity in ammonia volume distribution, the authors conducted an innovation research in the form of an ammonia loading volume control system based on the PID approach. The Outseal programmable logic controller acts as the modbus master in the control system, while the ATmega 328 and ESP-8266 act as modbus slaves. The modbus master has become a servo motor controller, a pump, a flowmeter sensor, and a level sensor all in one. The keypad is used to send data from the modbus slave as the input setting of the volume setpoint value. Modbus slave is frequently used to update databases and websites with information.
The ammonia loading volume control system developed as a result of this research uses the PID method to maintain a constant water flow rate, and the operator can monitor the ammonia loading results on the website. The ammonia loading control system has a rise time of 53.9 seconds, a settling time of 123 seconds, an overshoot value of 1.03, and a 3% error value. Experiments have been conducted 30 times with a setpoint of 1 liter to 10 liters for flowmeter sensor readings with the YF-S201 type, and the average error value was 1.89%.
