Abstract

Penting bagi perusahaan untuk dapat melakukan pengendalian dan manajemen risiko terhadap potensi kegagalan yang dapat mempengaruhi kinerja pemasok. PT. XYZ merupakan perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang industri proses yang menggunakan batubara sebagai bahan baku utama dalam proses produksi dan mendukung operasional perusahaan sebagai pembangkit listrik. Mengingat pentingnya batubara terhadap proses produksi perusahaan, maka perusahaan perlu untuk menganalisis risiko yang mempengaruhi kinerja pemasok batubara sehingga dapat mengantisipasi risiko yang akan terjadi di masa depan. Penelitian ini berfokus pada pengembangan analisis risiko yang mempengaruhi kinerja pemasok dengan mengintegrasikan metode Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) dan Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP). Metode AHP digunakan untuk memperbaiki kekurangan FMEA dalam perhitungan Risk Priority Number (RPN) dengan melakukan pembobotan dan pemeringkatan pada kriteria severity, occurrence, dan detection berdasarkan pengaruh setiap kriteria terhadap kinerja pemasok bagi perusahaan. Mode kegagalan diidentifikasi dari empat faktor yang mempengaruhi kinerja pemasok, yaitu kualitas, pengiriman, kapasitas, dan biaya. Dari masing-masing mode kegagalan, dilakukan identifikasi terhadap efek kegagalan, penyebab potensial, mode deteksi, skor severity, occurrence, dan detection melalui wawancara dan brainstorming dengan para ahli. Selanjutnya, dilakukan perhitungan nilai RPN dan diperoleh mode kegagalan dengan nilai RPN tertinggi yaitu kenaikan harga akibat lonjakan permintaan (6,893), keterlambatan pengiriman akibat faktor alam (6,679), dan kualitas produk di bawah standar baku mutu perusahaan (6,329). Mode kegagalan tersebut kemudian dianalisis menggunakan fishbone diagram untuk mengetahui akar penyebabnya. Setelah itu, diberikan saran dan rekomendasi perbaikan untuk mengantisipasi risiko terjadinya kegagalan dan mengurangi potensi mode kegagalan yang dapat terjadi.

It is important for companies to be able to control and manage risks against potential failures that can affect supplier performance. PT. XYZ is a company engaged in the process industry that uses coal as the main raw material in the production process and supports the company's operations as a power plant. Given the importance of coal to the company's production process, company needs to analyze the risks that affect the performance of coal suppliers so that they can anticipate risks that will occur in the future. This research focuses on developing risk analysis that affects supplier performance by integrating the Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) and Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) methods. The AHP method is used to correct FMEA deficiencies in the calculation of the Risk Priority Number (RPN) by weighting and ranking the criteria for severity, occurrence, and detection based on the effect of each criterion on supplier performance for the company. Failure modes are identified from four factors that affect supplier performance, namely quality, delivery, capacity, and cost. From each failure mode, identification of the effect of failure, potential causes, mode of detection, severity, occurrence, and detection score are carried out through interviews and brainstorming with experts. Next, the RPN value is calculated and the failure modes are obtained with the highest RPN value, namely price increases due to spikes in demand (6.893), delivery delays due to natural factors (6.679), and product quality below the company's quality standards (6.329). The failure modes are then analyzed using a fishbone diagram to determine the root causes. After that, suggestions and recommendations for improvement are given to anticipate the risk of failure and reduce potential failure modes that can occur.
