Abstract

================================================================================================
Traditional herbal remedies that function to maintain body immunity so that they can break the chain of spread of Covid-19 provide opportunities for UMKM to open instant herbal medicine businesses. Intense competition requires manufacturers to pay attention to product quality. One of the factors that affect product quality lies in the packaging, so quality control is needed on product packaging. One method that can be used is Six Sigma by combining several other statistical tools in the form of a P Multivariate control chart at the Measure stage, Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) at the Analyze stage and the concepts of Kaizen and TRIZ at the Improve stage. From the results of the analysis and discussion, it shows that the data on product packaging defects in stage 1 has not been statistically controlled because there are several points that are out of control. After improvement, the obtained control limits can be used as standard production control limits for the control of the next stage. Stage 1 data has a sigma value of 3.79551 sigma and a sigma value of stage 2 of 3.91230 sigma. The causes of defective products with the highest ranking are engine seals that have not been hot, inexperienced operators, less clean environment, and dry ink. The improvement solutions obtained from TRIZ are preliminary action, parameter change, cheap disposable, and periodic action.
