Abstract

Berdasarkan hasil survei Asosiasi Penyelenggara Jasa Internet Indonesia (APJII), jumlah pengguna internet tahun 2019 telah mencapai 171,171 juta jiwa dari total 264,16 juta jiwa jumlah penduduk Indonesia. Tingginya angka pengguna internet di Indonesia, potensi ancaman terhadap teknologi informasi juga semakin tinggi. Hal ini bisa dibuktikan dengan adanya banyak kasus yang terjadi terkait dengan keamanan informasi. Salah satunya sering terjadi pencurian data ataupun kebocoran informasi pada perguruan tinggi di Indonesia. Kasus pencurian data tersebut bertujuan untuk mendapat keuntungan. Pelaku mengambil username, password, email mahasiswa. Banyaknya Virus atau malware yang menyerang komputer mahasiswa akibat dari kurangnya kesadaran mahasiswa
terhadap keamanan informasi. Belum lagi Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS) sebagai perguruan tinggi unggulan bidang sains dan teknologi yang memiliki peran memberikan
pelayanan maupun fasilitas akademik kepada mahasiswanya dengan memanfaatkan teknologi informasi ternyata juga belum
memiliki kebijakan yang mengatur tentang kesadaran keamanan informasi, sehingga tidak ada yang mendorong mahasiswa untuk sadar akan pentingnya keamanan informasi.

Berdasarkan masalah akibat kurang kesadaran keamanan informasi, peneliti ingin melakukan penelitan terhadap tingkat kesadaran keamanan informasi pada mahasiswa ITS.
Penelitian ini diukur berdasarkan dimensi kesadaran yang
mengacu pada Knowledge-Attitude-Behavior (KAB) model. Sedangkan area keamanan informasi yaitu menjaga kerahasiaan password dan PIN, menggunakan e-mail secara bijaksana, menggunakan internet dengan bijak, berhati-hati menggunakan perangkat seluler, penggunaan media sosial, penanganan informasi pribadi, melaporkan insiden keamanan informasi, taat pada aturan, pirated application, dan adoption security control. Penelitan ini menggunakan metode Multiple Criteria Decision Analysis (MCDA) untuk mengukur tingkat kesadaran keamanan informasi pada mahasiswa ITS.
Berdasarkan hasil rata-rata persentase kesadaran keamanan
informasi untuk tiap area, tingkat kesadaran mahasiswa ITS
secara keseluruhan berada pada nilai 75% yang berarti berada
pada kategori cukup sadar. Namun dari tiga dimensi yang diukur hanya ada satu area yang salah satu dimensi kesadarannya bernilai buruk, yaitu area menggunakan internet
dengan bijak untuk dimensi pengetahuan dan dimensi perilaku.
Serta didapatkan tujuh area keamanan informasi yang berada
pada level sedang, artinya berpotensi membutuhkan tindakan.
Dari area keamanan informasi yang berada pada level buruk dan sedang akan diberikan rekomendasi. Rekomendasi dihasilkan dari hasil analisis peneliti yang didukung dengan
referensi penelitian lain.

Based on the survey results of the Indonesian Internet service Providers Association (APJII), the number of internet users in 2019 has reached 171.171 million out of a total of 264.16 million people in Indonesia. The high number of internet users in Indonesia, the potential threat to information technology is also getting higher. This can be proven by the many cases that occur related to information security. One of them is the frequent occurrence of data theft or information leakage at universities in Indonesia. The data theft case aims to make a profit. The perpetrator took the student's username, password, email. The number of viruses or malware that attacks student computers is the result of students' lack of awareness of information security. Not to mention that the Sepuluh Nopember Institute of Technology (ITS) as a leading university in the field of science and technology that has a role in providing services and academic facilities to its students by utilizing information technology does not yet have a policy that
regulates information security awareness, so there is nothing to encourage students to aware of the importance of information security.

Based on the problem due to lack of information
security awareness, researchers want to conduct research on the level of information security awareness among ITS students. This study was measured based on the dimension of awareness which refers to the Knowledge-Attitude-Behavior (KAB) model. While the information security area is maintaining the confidentiality of passwords and PINs, using e-mail wisely, using the internet wisely, being careful using mobile devices, using social media, handling personal information, reporting information security incidents, obeying the rules, pirated applications, and adoption of security controls. This research uses the Multiple Criteria Decision Analysis (MCDA) method to measure the level of information security awareness among ITS students.
Based on the results of the average percentage of information security awareness for each area, the level of awareness of ITS students as a whole is at a value of 75% which means they are in the category of being quite aware. However, out of the three dimensions measured, there is only one area where one of the dimensions of awareness has a bad value, namely the area of using the internet wisely for the knowledge dimension and the behavioral dimension. As well as obtained seven information security areas that are at a moderate level, meaning that it has the potential to require action. From the area of information security that is at a bad and moderate level, recommendations will be given. Recommendations are generated from the results of the researcher's analysis supported by other research references.
