Abstract

Based on data since 2012, the Head of Marketing Section of the Bikasoga Sport Center, the number of visitors to the Bikasoga Sport Center has decreased since 2015. According to Mr. Budiman Usman, the President Director of Bikasoga Sport Center stated that the decline in the level of sports decisions is due to the large number of Sport Center competitors and, the rapid development of the sport center in Bandung. This has resulted in the establishment of many large-scale sports centers and strategic locations, so that participants have many choices of places where they will carry out sports activities, this has affected the decrease in the number of sports decisions at the Bikasoga Sport Center.

Designing a sports center that is optimal and able to meet user needs also encourages user activity so that the results of the visits will be maximized. Maximizing the function of the building as a sports center facility, changing the old impression and designing facilities with a fresh appearance so that it can invite new users to the Bikasoga Sport Center, becoming the mainstay of the public sports center.

By using a biophilic design, where the design is based on aspects that aim to produce spaces that participate in improving the well-being of life physically and mentally. Reinforced with a dendriform biomimetic design that adds to the character of a biophilic design identity, using a variety of styles, technology and materials, it is hoped that a sustainable design can revive the Bikasoga Sport Center.
