Abstract

Inter-island transportation has an important role in connecting islands in Kepulauan Seribu. Inadequate fleet size causes not every island can be connected. This requires route planning as well as ship selection which is suitable and able to serve the islands. The objective of the Final Project is to plan inter island transportation model for Kepulauan Seribu using the linear regression method to determine the size of the ship on the selected route using an optimization method that provides a minimum unit cost. The results of ship size regression and route optimization show that the ferry vessels with a minimum cost per unit are multihull type vessels with LPP = 17.96 meters, B = 6.06 meters, H = 1.92 meters, T = 0.58 meters, Vs = 16 knots, and a passenger capacity of 120 people and a crew of 5 people. While the selected route is the route with the smallest distance optimization method, namely Muara Angke – Pari – Tidung – Pramuka – Pantara – Harapan (PP) with a shipping distance of 84.06 nm for Rp. 3,520 per passenger/nm.
