Abstract

Ikan nila adalah sejenis ikan konsumsi air tawar. Dalam merawat kondisi air salah satu hal yang harus diperhatikan adalah pH. Dalam penelitihan ini, untuk menetukan indikator kondisi air yang baik dengan mengkontrol pH. Jika pH yang terlalu rendah atau terlalu tinggi dapat mempengaruhi nafsu makan berkurang, laju metabolisme menurun, bisa mudah terkena penyakit, dapat mengganggu pertumbuhan ikan, dan membuat ikan mati. Menurut Badan Standardisasi Nasional di buku Standar Nasional 7550:2009 dengan judul Produksi Ikan Nila (Oreochromis Niloticus) kondisi air untuk tingkat pH berkisar antara 6 – 8,5. Dengan masalah tersebut, terancang penelitihan tugas akhir ini, terciptanya rancangan bangun sistem pengendalian kadar pH Air pada budidaya ikan Nila, dengan menggunakan larutan garam NaHCO3 dan ekstrak daun ketapang sebagai menaikkan dan menurunkan pH air kolam. Kebutuhan dalam menjaga kondisi air jadi jauh lebih mudah dan efisien dalam budidaya ikan Nila. Ditambah lagi dengan penambahan menggunakan aplikasi smarphone dapat monitoring kondisi kolam.

Tilapia is a type of freshwater consumption fish. In treating water conditions, one of the things that must be considered is pH (power of hydrogen). In this research, to determine indicators of good air conditions by controlling pH. If the pH is too low or too high it can lead to decreased appetite, decreased metabolic rate, can become susceptible to disease, can interfere with fish growth, and cause fish to die. According to the National Standardization Body in the book National Standard 7550: 2009 with the title Tilapia Production (Oreochromis Niloticus), the water conditions for the pH level range from 6 - 8.5. With this problem, the design of this final project research is to create a design for controlling water pH levels in tilapia aquaculture, using NaHCO3 salt solution and ketapang leaf extract to raise and lower the pH of pond water. The need to maintain air conditions is much easier and more efficient in cultivating Tilapia. Coupled with the addition of using the smartphone application to monitor pool conditions.
