Abstract

Terdapat dua metode pengukuran koefisien absorbsi bunyi salah satunya adalah metode ruang dengung. Pengukuran dalam penelitian ini dilakukan di Ruang Reverberation Chamber yang terletak di Laboratorium Instrumentasi Akustik Departemen Fisika ITS dengan acuan ISO 354. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan mengetahui nilai koefisien absorbsi bunyi egg tray dan mengetahui pengaruh posisi peletakan egg tray terhadap koefisien absorbsi bunyi. Pengukuran dilakukan dengan lima variasi yaitu egg tray diletakkan di tengah ruangan dengan luasan 9x9 (satuan egg tray), lalu egg tray disebar di beberapa titik dengan luasan yang berbeda di titik tertentu, yaitu 4x3, 4x5, dan 3x2, dan yang terakhir egg tray disusun berlubang dengan jarak antar egg tray adalah satu luasan egg tray. Hasil yang diperoleh dari pengukuran adalah nilai waktu dengung ruangan saat kosong (T1) dan saat egg tray diletakkan di dalam ruangan (T2). Setelah dilakukan perhitungan dari hasil pengukuran, didapatkan nilai koefisien absorbsi bunyi egg tray rata-rata dari setiap variasi yang paling optimal terdapat pada frekuensi 1000 Hz dengan nilai untuk setiap variasi berturut-turut yaitu 0,6, 0,62, 0,58, 0,61, dan 0,57. Didapat kesimpulan bahwa nilai koefisien absorbsi bunyi egg tray rata-rata sebesar 0,6 pada frekuensi 1000 Hz dan secara keseluruhan posisi peletakan egg tray pada variasi 1, 2, 3, dan 4 yang digunakan tidak memiliki pengaruh yang cukup signifikan terhadap koefisien absorbsi bunyi. Namun pada variasi 5 terdapat perbedaan yang cukup terlihat dari variasi lainnya.

There are two methods of measuring the sound absorbance coefficient, one of which is the reverberation room method. The measurement in this study was conducted in the Reverberation Chamber located in the Acoustic Instrumentation Laboratory of its Physics Department with the reference ISO 354. This research was conducted with the aim of knowing the value of the egg tray sound absorbance coefficient and knowing the effect of the egg tray laying position on the sound absorbance coefficient. Measurements are carried out with five variations, namely egg trays placed in the middle of the room with an area of 9x9 (egg tray units), then egg trays are spread at several points with different areas at certain points, namely 4x3, 4x5, and 3x2, and the last egg tray is arranged perforated with the distance between egg trays is one egg tray area. The result obtained from the measurement is the value of the room's reverberation time when empty (T1) and reverberation time when the egg tray is placed inside the room (T2). After the calculation of the measurement results, the average egg tray sound absorption coefficient value of each most optimal variation is at a frequency of 1000 Hz with values for each variation consecutively are 0.6, 0.62, 0.58, 0.61, and 0.57. It was concluded that the value of the average egg tray sound absorbance coefficient is 0.6 at a frequency of 1000 Hz and the overall position of laying the egg tray in variations 1, 2, 3, and 4 used did not have a significant effect on the sound absorbance coefficient. But in variation 5 there is a fairly noticeable difference from other variations.
