Abstract
Pembangkit listrik tenaga gelombang laut tipe Oscillating Water Column dibuat dengan variasi bilah turbin Savonius dengan memanfaatkan pergerakan air di dalam kolom untuk menekan udara keluar menggerakkan bilah turbin yang terhubung dengan generator. Pada penelitian ini dilakukan variasi bilah turbin Savonius yaitu 2, 3, 4, dan 5 bilah dengan beban resistor 1 ohm. Prototipe turbin memiliki diamater sebesar 64 mm dan tebal turbin 18 mm. Pada turbin 4 bilah menunjukkan hasil yang paling optimal dengan nilai putaran turbin yang didapatkan (1285,60 ± 26,99) rpm, tegangan yang didapatkan (12,81 ± 0,25) mV dan arus yang didapatkan (12,72 ± 0,40) mA serta daya yang didapatkan (162,88 ± 5,87) mW.

Oscillating Water Column type ocean wave power plant is made with a variation of the Savonius turbine blade by utilizing the movement of water in the column to press the air out to move the turbine blades connected to the generator. In this study, variations of the Savonius turbine blades were 2, 3, 4, and 5 blades with a load resistor of 1 ohm. The turbine prototype has a diameter of 64 mm and a turbine thickness of 18 mm. The 4 blade turbine shows the most optimal results with the turbine rotation value obtained (1285,60 ± 26,99) rpm, the voltage obtained (12,81 ± 0,25) mV, the current obtained (12,72 ± 0,40) mA and the power obtained (162,88 ± 5,87) mW.
