Abstract
Zeolit NaY mesopori telah berhasil disintesis dengan variasi penambahan ekstrak buah lerak (Sapindus Rarak) sebagai katalis pada reaksi deoksigenasi pada penelitian ini. Sintesis zeolit NaY mesopori dilakukan dengan metode hidrotermal pada suhu 100 °C dan variasi penambahan ekstak buah lerak 2, 5, 10 dan 15 mL (NaY-Ln; n=2, 5, 10 atau 15). Hasil karakterisasi Fourier Transform Infrared (FTIR) dan X-ray Diffraction (XRD) menunjukkan terbentuknya zeolit NaY. Karakterisasi dengan adsorpsi-desorpsi N2 menunjukkan isoterm adsorpsi tipe IV yang mengindikasikan terbentuknya mesopori. Luas permukaan mesopori dan volume mesopori tertinggi diperoleh pada sampel NaY-L15 sebesar 238,406 m2 dan 0,158 cm3/g. Rasio Vmeso/Vmikro tertinggi diperoleh pada sampel NaY-L5 sebesar 3,43. Zeolit HY hasil reaksi pertukaran ion digunakan untuk uji katalitik reaksi deoksigenasi minyak kemiri sunan pada suhu 350 °C dan waktu reaksi 4 jam. Hasil reaksi menunjukkan selektivitas hidrokarbon tertinggi pada HY-L5 sebesar 44,85%. Selain itu, selektivitas produk hidrokarbon tertinggi terdapat pada C11 sebesar 38,65%.

Mesoporous NaY zeolite has been successfully synthesized with the addition of lerak fruit extract (Sapindus Rarak) as a catalyst in the deoxygenation reaction in this study. The synthesis of mesoporous NaY zeolite was carried out using the hydrothermal method at 100 °C and the addition of 2, 5, 10 and 15 mL of lerak fruit extract (NaY-Ln; n=2, 5, 10 or 15). The results of Fourier Transform Infrared (FTIR) and X-ray Diffraction (XRD) characterization showed the formation of NaY zeolite. Characterization by N2 adsorption-desorption showed a type IV adsorption isotherm that developed mesoporous formation. The highest mesoporous surface area and mesoporous volume were obtained at 238,406 m2 and 0,158 cm3/g NaY-L15 samples. The highest Vmeso/Vmicro ratio was obtained in the NaY-L5 sample of 3,43. Zeolite HY from the ion exchange reaction was used for the catalytic test of the deoxygenation reaction of sunan candlenut oil at a temperature of 350 °C and a reaction time of 4 hours. The reaction results showed the highest selectivity at 44,85% HY-L5. In addition, the highest product selectivity found in C11 was 38,65%.
