Abstract

The first case of Covid-19 in Indonesia occurred in March 2020. Various efforts were made to prevent the spread of the Covid-19 virus. In Indonesia, the government issued a regulation on Large-Scale Social Restrictions or PSBB. The existence of this policy led to the implementation of Learning From Home for students and school students, resulting in students returning to their respective hometowns and leaving their boarding houses or rented places overseas. This of course greatly affects the economy of the boarding house owner, especially if the target market is specifically for students. Therefore, this study was conducted to determine the factors that cause changes in boarding house owners' income during the Covid-19 pandemic using binary logistic regression. The results of this study were 75% or 40 boarding houses in RW 03 Keputih Village experienced a decrease in income => 50% and only 25% or 13 boarding houses experienced a decrease of <50%. The factor of cutting the price of boarding rooms and other businesses other than boarding houses is a significant factor in the income of the boarding house owner. The accuracy of the modeling classification in binary logistic regression on the boarding house owner's income during the pandemic is 88.7%.
