Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui karakteristik fisik, mekains, dan kimia tanah lempung dengan daya dukung rendah. Mengetahui perilaku mekanis tanah lempung yang distabilisasi fly ash yang mampu merubah sifar perilaku pada tanah lempung kondisi intial. Mengetahui perlikau kembang susut dan menguji kandungan mineal tanah lempung kondisi intial dan kondisi campuran fly ash. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian eskperimental dan permodelan yang dilakukan di laboratorium. Sample yang digunankan memiliki nilai CBR dibawah 6% menurut Spesifikasi Bina Marga tahun 2010 Revisi 3 seksi 3.2 yang diklasifikasikan sebagai tanah lempung dengan daya dukung rendah. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa penambahan fly ash 10% dapat menurunkan nilai plasticity index dari 25,88% menjadi 10,25%. Dapat meningkatkan nilai kuat tekan bebas dari 5,4 kN/m2 menjadi 27,3 kN/m2. Dapat meningkatkan kepadatan kering tanah dari 1,52 menjadi 1,80. Secara spesifik penelitian ini menemukan bahwa stabilisasi tanah dengan fly ash dapat meningkatkan kapasitas dukung tanah. Berpotensi mereduksi pengembangan, penyusutan, dan keretakan tanah lempung platisitas rendah (CL)

This study aims to determine the physical, mechanical, and
chemical characteristics of clay with low bearing capacity. Knowing the mechanical behavior of fly ash stabilized clay which can change the behavior properties of clay soil in initial conditions. Knowing the shrinkage behavior and testing the mineral content of the clay soil in the initial condition and the condition of the fly ash mixture. This
research is experimental and modeling research conducted in a laboratory. The sample used has a CBR value below 6% according to the 2010 Bina Marga Specification Revision 3 section 3.2 which is classified as clay soil with low bearing capacity. The results showed that the addition of 10% fly ash could reduce the plasticity index value
from 25.88% to 10.25%. Can increase the value of free compressive strength from 5.4 kN/m2 to 27.3 kN/m2. Can increase the dry density of the soil from 1.52 to 1.80. Specifically, this study found that soil stabilization with fly ash can increase the bearing capacity of the soil.
Potential to reduce swelling, shrinkage, and cracking of low plasticity (CL) clays
