Abstract

E-sport merupakan permainan video game yang bersifat kompetitif. Perkembangan e-sport di Indonesia mulai berkembang pesat. Dimulai dari diakuinya e-sport sebagai cabang olahraga resmi yang dipertandingkan di Asian Games 2018, sampai dengan diresmikannya e-sport sebagai cabang olahraga resmi di Indonesia pada 27 Agustus 2020. Menurut data yang dilansir dari esports.id, Indonesia juga merupakan salah satu pasar video game terbesar di Asia Pasifik dengan angka penjualan mencapai 13 juta trilliun. Sampai dengan tahun 2019 kemarin, tercatatat ada sebanyak 52 juta orang Indonesia merupakan player game. Salah satu pendekatan e-sports ke publik adalah dengan internet cafe. Dengan adanya internet cafe, player tidak perlu membeli perangkat komputer secara pribadi. Selain itu, player juga dapat bertemu dengan player lainnya. Hal ini menimbulkan efek yang baik juga untuk perkembangan e-sport. Dengan bertemunya para player ini di satu tempat, mereka bisa berlatih bersama hingga dapat membentuk sebuah tim.
Di Indonesia sudah terdapat sekitar 91 Internet Cafe dengan Ge-Force I-cafe Certification. Salah satunya adalah Poseidon Internet Cafe. Poseidon Internet Cafe merupakan salah satu internet cafe terbesar di Indonesia menurut artikel berita jagatreview. Poseidon Internet Cafe berlokasi di Jl. Menteri Supeno, Manahan, Kec. Banjarsari, Kota Surakarta, Jawa Tengah. Poseidon merupakan internet cafe bersertifikat Gold dari Nvidia Ge-force I-cafe Certification.
Sesuai dengan cita-cita Poseidon Internet Cafe , Poseidon akan di upgrade menjadi Platinum Certified Internet Cafe. Maka dari itu diperlukan pengembangan desain dan penambahan fasilitas untuk menjadi Platinum Certified Internet Cafe. Selain itu akan diterapkan juga konsep desain interior perpaduan nuansa Greek dan Cyberpunk untuk memperkuat brand image Poseidon Internet Cafe.

Indonesia is growing rapidly. Starting from e-sport officially become a competition in the
2018 Asian Games, until e-sport become an official sports in Indonesia on August 27,
2020. According to data published by esports.id, Indonesia is also one of the largest video
game markets in Asia Pacific with sales reaching 13 trillion. In 2019, it was recorded
that 52 million Indonesians were game players. One of the e-sports approaches to the
public is by building an internet cafe. With an internet cafe, players dont’t have to buy
their own computer equipments. In addition, players can also meet other players. This has
a good effect on the development of e-sports. By gathering these players in one place,
they can train together and make a team.
In Indonesia, there are around 91 Internet cafes with Ge-Force I-cafe Certification.
One of them is Poseidon Internet Cafe. Poseidon Internet Cafe is one of the biggest
internet cafes in Indonesia according to the Jagatreview news article. Poseidon Internet
Cafe is located on Jl. Menteri Supeno, Manahan, Kec. Banjarsari, Surakarta City, Central
Java. Poseidon is a Gold certified internet cafe from Nvidia Ge-force I-cafe Certification.
According to the owner of Poseidon Internet Cafe’s wish, Poseidon will be
upgraded become a Platinum Certified Internet Cafe. Therefore, a design development
and additional facilities are needed to be a Platinum Certified Internet Cafe. In addition,
the concept of interior design with a combination of Greek and Cyberpunk nuances will
also be applied in regard to strengthen the brand image of Poseidon Internet Cafe.
