Abstract
Pengembangan teknologi pengolahan limbah di Indonesia terus dikembangkan pada berbagai lini perindustrian, khususnya di bidang pengolahan menjadi bahan baku alternatif layak guna. Salah satunya adalah pengolahan limbah ban bekas menjadi campuran aspal modifikasi crumb rubber yang banyak menjadi alternatif campuran bahan aspal modifikasi yang banyak digunakan di California dan negara bagian di eropa lainya. Campuran ini terbukti meningkatkan viskositas aspal sehingga berdampak pada durabilitas aspal yang lebih baik.
Pengujian kali ini menggunakan bahan campuran Crumb Rubber industri yang merupakan hasil dari pengolahan limbah ban bekas berupa serbuk clumb rubber, dengan menggunakan campuran persentase 0%, 5%, 10%, 15%, 20%, 25% akan diujikan dengan metode pencampuran basah dengan aspal 60/70. Hasil dari campuran aspal modifikasi crumb rubber akan bandingkan dengan aspal 60/70 tanpa campuran berdasarkan kriteria uji aspal.
Penelitian ini menghasilkan nilai kadar aspal optimum untuk lapisan aus ac-wc 7,21% menggunakan campuran aspal crumb rubber terbaik dengan kadar 10%. Parameter pengujian ini didapatkan dari hasil uji test Marshall, dengan nilai Marshall Quotient pada kadar 0% 243,52 mengalami peningkatan menjadi 338,26 pada aspal modifikasi, dan uji Indirect Tensile Strength (ITS) dengan nilai ITS Basah pada kadar 0% 179,34 meningkat menjadi 350,6. Sedangkan ITS Kering dengan kadar 0% 244,24 meningkat menjadi 433,55.

Waste treatment technology advancing in every industrial sector, especially when it comes to processing it into suitable alternative raw materials. Used tires waste is one of many waste treatment technology that recycled into asphalt modified crumb rubber additive, an alternative additive mixture that has been proven effective in California and Europe. It proved to increase the asphalt durability by adding viscosity to the mixture.
Asphalt modified crumb Rubber is unique in every country, each has a different additive and mixture depending on weather, humidity, and climates. This research, asphalt modified mixed with crumb rubber with different contents 0%, 5%, 10%, 15%, 20% and mixed with hot mix asphalt 60/70 method, then compared with asphalt rubber with no modification.
The result of this study is optimum asphalt content value 7,21% using 10% content of crumb rubber in asphalt mixture. The parameter of this study was based on marshall testing, with the marshall quotient value at a rate of 0% 243,52 increased to 338,26 on modified asphalt and indirect tensile strength testing with the dry indirect tensile testing value at a rate of 0% 244,44 increased to 433,55.
