Abstract

Saat ini teknologi telah mempermudah aktivitas manusia. Misalnya berkurangnya batas-batas wilayah sehingga seseorang bisa mengetahui keadaan suatu tempat tanpa perlu datang langsung ke tempat tersebut. Salah satu kemudahan tersebut dapat diperoleh dengan hadirnya teknologi video 360. Video 360 memberikan gambaran suatu tempat dimana kita dapat melihat keadaan suatu wilayah dalam sudut 360° seperti di dunia nyata. Namun hal ini memiliki kelemahan yaitu informasi yang diberikan kurang immersive karena pengguna hanya melihat video tanpa bisa melakukan interaksi dengan lingkungan dalam video tersebut. Masalah tersebut dapat diatasi dengan virtual reality. Virtual reality dapat diterapkan dimana saja contohnya diterapkan pada museum. Di Surabaya sendiri terdapat museum yang cukup menarik karena benda-benda yang dipamerkan beragam dan masih terawat. Misalnya museum Bank Indonesia De Javasche Bank. Dengan menerapkan virtual reality menggunakan perangkat HTC Vive maka museum tersebut dapat direkonstruksi kembali secara akurat menggunakan teknik fotogrametri dan pemodelan 3D manual serta dengan interaksi interaksi yang dirancang didalamnya dapat memberikan pengalaman immersive kepada pengguna.

Nowadays technology has made human activities easier. For example, reducing territorial boundaries so that someone can know the state of a place without the need to come directly to the place. One of these conveniences can be obtained with the presence of 360 video technology. Video 360 provides an overview of a place where we can see the state of an area in a 360° angle like in the real world. However, this has a weakness, namely the information provided is less immersive because users only see the video without being able to interact with the environment in the video. This problem can be solved with virtual reality. Virtual reality can be applied anywhere, for example, applied to museums. In Surabaya itself there is a museum that is quite interesting because the objects on display are diverse and still well maintained. For example, the Bank Indonesia De Javasche Bank museum. By applying virtual reality using the HTC Vive device, the museum can be reconstructed accurately using photogrammetric techniques and manual 3D modeling and the interactions designed in it can provide an immersive experience to the user.
