Abstract
Insititut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS) merupakan salah satu perguruan tinggi teknologi dan sains terbaik di Indonesia. Sebagai salah satu perguruan tinggi favorit di Indonesia, ITS seringkali mendapat kunjungan dari kalangan pelajar yang ingin tahu tentang departemen dan daya tarik ITS. Permasalahan yang sering dijumpai adalah kurangnya tenaga pendamping, sulitnya kunjungan ke departemen tertentu, serta presentasi yang kurang menarik. Perkembangan teknologi menyebabkan berkembangnya banyak inovasi, salah satunya adalah teknologi aplikasi tur virtual dimana pengunjung dapat melihat suatu lokasi tanpa datang langsung. Berdasarkan permasalahan tersebut, maka dirancanglah sebuah aplikasi wisata edukasi di ITS sebagai media untuk mengenalkan siswa SMA dengan informasi mengenai departemen, bangunan, serta daya tarik dari ITS.
Perancangan ini terdiri dari berbagai tahap yaitu, pengumpulan data, perancangan user persona, information architecture, perancangan wireframe, dan pembuatan high fidelity prototype, dan usability testing. Dalam tahap pengumpulan data menggunakan kuisioner dan interview untuk data primer . Data sekunder dikumpulkan dengan kajian literasi dan studi desain eksisiting sebagai referensi desain dari aplikasi. Setelah data dikumpulkan, dirancang user persona berupa profil calon pengguna dari aplikasi ini serta information architecture untuk memetakan menu menu serta alur dari aplikasi. Information architecture serta persona kemudian digunakan untuk merancang wireframe yang merupakan sketsa desain aplikasi, dilanjutkan dengan high fidelity prototype. Hasil prototipe desain kemudian diuji coba pada tahap user testing serta depth interview pada ahli UI/UX untuk menilai efektivitas dari aplikasi yang sudah dibuat. Konsep desain yang dibuat berupa aplikasi dengan fitur tur virtual yang menggunakan gambar 360 disertai dengan informasi mengenai lokasi lokasi di ITS.
Hasil perancangan ini adalah aplikasi wisata edukasi ITS berbasis platform smartphone android yang berisi informasi mengenai lingkungan kampus ITS. Pembagian kategori tour dibagi menjadi 4 kategori utama yaitu kategori fakultas, landmark, fasilitas, dan inovasi dan kegiatan di ITS. Pengambilan lokasi tour pada perancangan ini meliputi Fakultas Desain Kreatif dan Bisnis Digital. Pada aplikasi ini, pengguna menggunakan foto dan video 360 untuk menjelajahi ITS tanpa datang langsung, didalam setiap lokasi terdapat berbagai titik yang menceritakan mengenai keunggulan dan keunikan dari lokasi yang diambil. Perancangan ini dapat menunjang kegiatan kunjungan pelajar ke ITS, meningkatkan minat pelajar untuk melanjutkan pendidikan di ITS, dan memberikan pengetahuan yang lebih dalam mengenai lingkungan kampus, meningkatkan citra ITS sebagai salah satu perguruan tinggi teknologi dan sains terbaik di Indonesia, dan membangun sebuah pengalaman teknologi dari kampus ITS.

Insitut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS) is one of the best technology and science universities in Indonesia.
As one of the favorite universities in Indonesia, ITS often gets visits from students who are curious about the
department and the attractiveness of ITS. The problems that are often encountered are the lack of assistants,
the difficulty of visiting certain departments, and unattractive presentations. Technological developments have
led to the development of many innovations, one of which is virtual tour application technology where visitors
can see a location without coming directly. Based on these problems, an educational tourism application was
designed at ITS as a medium to introduce high school students with information about departments, buildings,
and the attractions of ITS.
This design consists of various stages, namely, data collection, user persona design, information architecture,
wireframe design, and manufacture of high fidelity prototypes, and usability testing. In the data collection
stage using questionnaires and interviews for primary data. Secondary data were collected by literacy studies
and existing design studies as a design reference for the application. After the data is collected, a user persona
is designed in the form of a profile of prospective users of this application as well as an information
architecture to map the menus and flow of the application. Information architecture and personas are then
used to design a wireframe which is an application design sketch, followed by a high fidelity prototype. The
results of the design prototype are then tested at the user testing stage and in depth interviews with UI/UX
experts to assess the effectiveness of the applications that have been made. The design concept made in the
form of an application with a virtual tour feature that uses 360 images accompanied by information about the
location of the location at ITS.
The result of this design is an ITS educational tourism application based on the Android smartphone platform
which contains information about the ITS campus environment. The division of the tour category is divided
into 4 main categories, namely the category of faculties, landmarks, facilities, and innovations and activities
at ITS. Taking the location of the tour in this design includes the Faculty of Creative Design and Digital
Business. In this application, users use 360 photos and videos to explore ITS without coming directly, in each
location there are various points that tell about the advantages and uniqueness of the location taken. This
design can support student visit activities to ITS, increase student interest in continuing education at ITS, and
provide deeper knowledge about the campus environment, improve the image of ITS as one of the best
technology and science universities in Indonesia, and build a technological experience from ITS campus
