Abstract
Desain kapal
dilakukan menggunakan metode parent design approach. Kapal yang didesain memiliki
Payload 100 pengunjung, 35 orang crew, dengan ukuran utama Panjang (Loa): 51,5 m; Lebar
(B): 17,8 m; Tinggi (H): 5 m; Sarat (T): 2,5 m; Kecepatan (Vs): 13 Knot dengan daerah operasi
Parapat, Air Terjun Situmurun, Tomok, Batu Gantung. Durasi perjalanan didesain selama 2 jam
dengan 3 kali perjalanan dalam 1 hari. Setelah didapatkan ukuran utama, dilanjutkan dengan
membuat Lines Plan, General Arrangement, Safety Plan, dan 3D Model. Berdasarkan analisis
tahun 4 bulan 23 hari.

Lake Toba is the largest caldera lake in the world. Lake Toba is also known as a unique tourism
area because it has Samosir Island in the middle of the lake. In 2020, Lake Toba is designated
as a UNESCO Global Geopark (UGG). The presence of UGG status to Lake Toba further
increases the value of the main attractions of North Sumatra Province. However, the problem
is the lack of adequate facilities for the protection of Batak cultural conservation, education,
and local economic development. To solve the problem, there needs to be a solution to build
facilities that can increase the value of Lake Toba. So in the Final Project this time carried out
the design of innovation of tourist ships with local wisdom with restaurants and museums that
can be a means of culinary tourism and cultural education in Lake Toba. Ship design using
parent design approach method. The ship is designed to have a Payload of 100 visitors, 35 crew
members, with the main size Length (Loa): 51,5 m; Width (B): 17,8 m; Height (H): 5 m; Loaded
(T): 2,5 m; Speed (Vs): 13 Knots with Parapat operating area, Situmurun Waterfall, Tomok,
Batu Gantung. The duration of the trip is designed for 2 hours with 3 trips in 1 day. After the
main size is obtained, continued by creating Lines Plan, General Arrangement, Safety Plan, and
3D Model. Based on the economic analysis that has been done, the total cost of shipbuilding
amounted to Rp. 38,113,003,501,-. The investment value of this ship is worth doing with a Net
Present Value of Rp 11,778,859,971,- Internal Rate of Return of 16,14%, and Payback Period
in 10 years 4 months 23 days.
