Abstract

Meningkatnya populasi manusia berbanding lurus dengan kebutuhan barang
guna memenuhi kebutuhan manusia, dengan mempertimbangkan efisiensi kapal
merupakan salah satu moda transportasi yang bisa digunakan mengantarkan barang yang
mampu mengangkut dalam skala besar. Mesin kapal saat ini didominasi mesin diesel
yang menggunakan bahan bakar minyak seperti marine fuel oil (MFO) maupun marine
gas oil (MGO). Dimana biaya paling besar pada biaya operasional suatu kapal adalah
biaya konsumsi bahan bakar sehingga harga bbm sangat mempengaruhi besarnya biaya
operasional, sedangkan harga bbm bergantung pada situasi dan kondisi negara produsen
dan juga suatu kondisi yang tidak terduga seperti pandemi COVID-19 ini. Kemudian
penulis mengangkat topik penelitian ini guna mengetahui perbandingan biaya konsumsi
bahan bakar kapal yang menggunakan bahan bakar minyak jenis MFO dibandingkan
dengan bahan bakar jenis MGO sebelum dan setelah adanya pandemi ini dengan
menghitung konsumsi bahan bakar MV PUTERI SEJATI. Adapun hal lain yang
diperhatikan adalah sisi teknis seperti pergantian komponen guna mendukung bahan
bakar jenis MGO. Dari penelitian ini penulis mendapatkan biaya konsumsi bahan bakar
kapal ini sebelum adanya pandemi untuk sekali berlayar menggunakan BBM jenis MFO
pada putaran 120 rpm adalah Rp1.823.835.610 dan biaya menggunakan BBM jenis MGO
adalah Rp2.317.545.662 biaya untuk satu tahun berlayar menggunakan BBM jenis MFO
pada putaran 120 rpm adalah Rp43.772.054.661 dan biaya menggunakan BBM jenis
MGO adalah Rp55.683.561.359 dan biaya untuk sepuluh tahun berlayar menggunakan
BBM jenis MFO adalah Rp437.720.546.612 dan biaya menggunakan BBM jenis MGO
adalah Rp556.898.079.050. Sedangkan, biaya konsumsi bahan bakar ditengah kondisi
pandemic ini untuk sekali berlayar menggunakan BBM jenis MFO pada putaran 120 rpm
adalah Rp2.325.960.353 dan biaya menggunakan BBM jenis MGO adalah
Rp2.621.266.120, biaya untuk satu tahun berlayar menggunakan BBM jenis MFO adalah
55.823.048.460 dan biaya menggunakan BBM jenis MGO adalah Rp63.012.057.668 dan
biaya untuk sepuluh tahun berlayar menggunakan BBM jenis MFO adalah
Rp558.230.484.602 dan biaya menggunakan BBM jenis MGO adalah
Rp629.205.539.659. Dari hasil analisa penulis menyimpulkan bahwa ditengah pandemi
ini biaya konsumsi bahan bakar meningkat karena naik nya harga BBM dan pada kondisi
putaran full speed, eco speed, putaran 111 rpm, 109 rpm, 107 rpm 104 rpm dan 102 rpm
jenis bahan bakar yang lebih efisien adalah MFO ditinjau dari segi ekonomis.

The increase in the human population is directly proportional to the need for
goods to meet human needs, taking into account the efficiency of the ship as one of the
modes of transportation that can be used to transport goods on a large scale. Currently,
ship engines are dominated by diesel engines that use fuel oil such as marine fuel oil
(MFO) and marine gas oil (MGO). Where the largest cost of operating costs is the cost
of fuel consumption, so the price of fuel greatly affects the amount of operating costs,
while the price of fuel depends on the situation and condition of the producing country
and also an unexpected condition such as the COVID-19 pandemic. Then the author
raised the topic of this research to determine the cost of fuel consumption for ships that
use MFO type fuel oil compared to MGO type fuel before and after this pandemic by
calculating the MV PUTERI SEJATI fuel consumption. Another thing to consider is the
technical side, such as changing components to support MGO type fuel. From this study,
the authors get the cost of ship fuel consumption before the pandemic for once a ship uses
MFO type fuel at 120 rpm rotation is IDR 1,823,835,610 and the cost of using MGO type
fuel is IDR 2,317,545,662 the cost for one year the ship uses this type of fuel. MFO at
120 rpm is Rp43,772,054,661 and the cost of using MGO type fuel is Rp55,683,561,359
and the cost for ten years for ships using MFO type fuel is Rp437,720,546,612 and the
cost of using MGO type fuel is Rp556,898,079. 050. Meanwhile, the cost of fuel
consumption in the midst of this pandemic condition for once sailing using MFO type
fuel at 120 rpm is Rp.2,325,960,353 and the cost of using MGO type fuel is
Rp.2,621,266,120, the cost for one year the ship uses MFO type fuel is 55,823,048,460
and the cost of using MGO type fuel is Rp. 63,012,057,668 and the cost for ten years for
ships to use MFO type of fuel is Rp. 558,230,484,602 and the cost of using MGO type
fuel is Rp629,205,539,659. From the results of the analysis, the authors conclude that in
the midst of this pandemic, the cost of fuel consumption increases due to rising fuel prices
and at full speed conditions, environmentally friendly speeds, rotations of 111 rpm, 109
rpm, 107 rpm, 104 rpm and 102 rpm, the more efficient type of fuel is MFO in terms of
economics.
