Abstract

Recently, fashion industry in Indonesia has been growed and become one of profitable bussinesses for Indonesia. This is proven by its contribution to Indonesia’s creative economy
about 18.01% or Rp 116 trillion (CNBC Indonesia, 2019). From there, Indonesia’s fashion industry has a prospect to show off itself to the world. Many fashion show that have been held perennialy in Indonesia, such as Indonesia Fashion Week, Jakarta Fashion Week, Bali Fashion Trend, Jember Fashion Carnaval, etc. Those event, also supported by the growth of local brands. In these event, Indonesian designers have a chance to attract fashionista that spread around the world. So, in this final project, will be designed an innovation of a fashion show catamaran that can be additional option to increase local fashion trend and support Indonesia’s economy. The ship is designed to have a payload of 659 visitors, 26 crew members, with the main dimensions Length (Loa): 63.21 m; Width (B): 23 m; Height (H): 5.8 m; Draft (T): 3.5 m; Speed (Vs): 8 Knots. This ship will operate in four operating area, that is Jakarta, Semarang, Surabaya, and Bali. The ships’s operational time will have four option of scenario, A scenario, B scenario, C scenario and D scenario. Operational schedule itself will
be distinguished based on its operational time and its sailing time. Technical analysis which is conducted, involve ship’s weight calculation, stability, trim calculation, and freeboard calculation. Those result, will be used to design Linesplan, General Arrangement, Safety Plan, and 3D model. Then, there are 3 different version of the economical calculation. The first version has net present value (NPV) Rp33.347.805.182, internal rate return (IRR) yaitu 18.10%,
and its payback period is 8 years 1 month 18 days. Second version has NPV Rp18.576.896.544, IRR 15.01%, and payback period 11 years 0 month 28 day. Third version has NPV
Rp3.805.987.906, IRR 11.77%, dan payback period after 15 years 1 month 1 days
